Bigger mains or hunt down and F22 crank?

So basically, would it be easier (or possible) to get the mains on my 96 H22A1 block enlarged to accept a crank with 55mm mains, or would it be better (safer, more reliable) to hunt down an F22 crankshaft with 50mm mains? I want to get a slightly longer stroke when I rebuild my H22, just to achieve a little more torque across the board. The only reason I ask is, my fiancee's cousin has a polished/balanced H23 crank he wants to get rid of for real cheap, and I need to know in case I need to jump on this offer haha. BUT, since I'll be getting the entire rotating assembly balanced together, should I just grab a stock F22 crank and go from there?

Sorry if this is confusing, I'm really tired and have a migraine. lol

i'm pretty sure blake has already (or is planning on using) an F23 crank in his H22.

Yeah, but the stroke on that bad bear is even longer.. He has custom rods and all that shiz so I don't even look at his parts for reference haha. I'm about to just say **** it and stick with stock everything (except maybe type-s pistons), cuz once you go with the f22/h23 crank, you gotta use the f22/h23 rods, and they don't like to rev as high...blegh. Whatever. lol
