depends how big and how big is the manifold the is no point to get the biggest throttle body if the manifold isnt to pare

Re: Throttle body. Is bigger better?

01preludeperformance is right. You have to get the Intake Mani portmatch to see maximum performance gained; otherwise, it'll be pointless.

I'm running a Skunk2 68mm TB with my OEM 69mm portmatched Intake Manifold that has a Blacktrax IAB spacer(No Butterflies). IM portmatched is done by Rosko Racing.

Re: Throttle body. Is bigger better?

went from a stock s2000 to a 68mm tb that tapered to a 74mm inlet that netted zero whp across the board (didnt lose any either) on my old motor.

got some throttle response and took a little getting used to for driving. Other than that it was a waste of money on my end.
