Re: Cold air intake??????? HEELLLPP

this isnt even prelude specific. you can put an intake on ANY vehicle that breathes air. the transmission has nothing to do with it.

People telling you that you can't have a CAI in a automatic is as ridiculous as people telling you that you can't wear Tightie Whities til your 18!!!

Yea....shoulda learned from the start to get a 5spd instead of an AUTO!!! I do admit that I enjoy my AUTO from time to time, but as far as gettin revenge on those to pick on me or jus to cut infront of someone that is going mad slow then that's where I wish I had a 5spd!!!

^lol

Yeah it doesnt matter if its a stick or auto its the same

When I bought my 1st car, a 92 prelude, there were 2 preludes in the car lot...a blue 92-94 auto and a red 92 manual...I left with the red 92 and I had never owned or drove a stick before so I learned on the way home pretty much

I'd go with injen, although I haven't researched it thoroughly, I've heard that aem mass produces their intakes, and injen puts more hard work into their intakes

Why aem? You gave no reasoning for your pick... Seems to me that this guy is only trying to get his post count up to sell something... I could be wrong but you've posted at least 3 threads with dumb questions or questions that could easily be found by searching, not to mention double posting a handful of times. Come on now...

a cold air intake is a cold air intake. its a tube of a certain diameter with a filter at the end. there would be absolutely no differance between and injen and aem intake if they were the same diameter/length.

Re: Cold air intake??????? HEELLLPP

AEM dosent actually make an intake for automatics, manual only. however i've got a custom aem intake that i converted to work with the auto transmission. ill sell it for $400+ship

i've got the ebay special on my h22a. and guess what! it's a metal tube with a K&N filter on the end. smooth on the inside, smooth on the outside. it transports air just as well as every other smooth bent metal tube. only thing it dosent have is a logo on it. but hey, i think i can live without the extra 10 horse that the AEM badge adds...

I got the AEM V2 intake and it sounds awesome. not sure if it adds anymore or less hp than other intakes but i bet it added more to my engine than it did others... lol

Alot of ppl say I wasted my money on the V2 and I tell them....their mom is a whore..

If I would of found the cf wale penis one I prob would of got that but I love the V2 just wish it was cf lol

Re: Cold air intake??????? HEELLLPP

What the hell is everyone talking about? I know for a fact that you cannot put a cold air intake on an automatic Prelude. I've seen this tried before with many automatic preludes and it's always ended in Fail. You guys need to stop leading the OP on that he can do this, he's going to end up wasting his money.
