What do you think about MSD ignition coil and MSD etc parts?

i see you used to be a long haul truck driver?? definatly a win. my dad was a OTR trucker. Its something i wanted to do but it takes a certain type of person for that.

Hey lilms! Thanks for the audio thread...its been a big help. But I do have a question. Are the front door speakers on a 5g really 6.25? or are they 6.5? Ive seen two answers to this question and Im a little confused. I hadn't heard anything to the contrary of the fact that they were 6.25 until I saw this guys thread. As Im sure you saw, I purchased a set of Kenwood 6.5 inchers last christmas. And I hadn't had time to install them until this summer. Do forgive me if you've already answered this somewhere, because I certainly could not find the answer to my question. I read through your DIY on Audio..and the speakers you list are for 4th gens. If there is a thread that addresses this question, could you point me toward it? I saw how to fit them in if they don't fit, but the question still remains.. From what I've searched, it looks like they...don't?

Heya LilMs, i am researching and compiling a total DIY for removing/re-soldering the HVAC and replacing the LEDs in my 4gLude and i have a few questions im not finding answers for and hope you might be able to help me out with your apparent wisdom.
1) What function does the brown connector have, should i re-solder those joints in addition to the green connector pins? I see no mention in DIYs i found.
2)Do the traditional LEDs work, or do i need to source specific ones?
3) If i need specific LEDs, where can i get them? I see in your pictures your LEDs have a base very similar to the OEM LEDs as opposed to normal LEDs.

If, in the future, I have you do my HVAC, would you also be able/willing to fix the fuel/temp gauge? I replaced fuses when it started to give intermittent display, but it must be a short. I have not seem them work in some time now, but have been using the trip meter as a "gas gauge."
