Under Tech Talk there is a DIY section featuring writeups, and a Product Reviews section. The DIY posts quite often have other ways of doing the same thing, or more commonly a bunch of posts saying 'well done' which isn't entirely a bad thing TBH. The Product Reviews quite often have talk about various competition products if there are any, and why this one is or isn't better than another.
