:::719Lude::: 1994 Honda Prelude S

So i have been inactive for around 4 years after selling both preudes I owned because I work at a Subaru dealership in the parts department and I got the Subaru itch. I sold the 1993 Prelude for a 2004 Wrx Wagon, then sold that for a 2015 Forester Xt then sold that for a 2017 Sti. I also own a lifted 1990 Cherokee. While scanning the facebook marketplace I came across the listing for a 1994 Prelude S with a blown engine. I couldn't pass this up since I hate myself for getting rid of both preludes. This is going to be at a snails pace but here is where I'm at so far

Engine:
f22a1 2.2 SOHC

Interior:
Stock

Exterior:
Stock

Suspension:
Stock

Future Mods:
H22a swap and tons more!

Spent yesterday evening stripping the interior. The previous owner must have liked to drink and drive because I found a 1/4 full bottle of skoal vodka under the passenger seat

Had a friend tow me home with his forester

Found almost $4 in change while stripping the interior

No updates lately, planning on getting a jdm front clip within the next month then hunting for a replacement f22 so i can at least drive it instead of it being a garage ornament. My jeep has been getting a lot of love lately and just recently the auto trans went out in it. I'm going to start doing more to the prelude while i source out a manual trans swap that i hope to have taken care of over the winter months. Will post more here within the next month or so!

Well finally got up to doing a little bit of work to the prelude in anticipation of the jdm front clip that i will be purchasing here in the next couple of weeks. I will be updating the thread more as i will be putting more upgrades for the autocross season next year. Hopefully everything will be up and running by then....

Re: :::719Lude::: 1994 Honda Prelude S

Have been pretty busy between work and working on my prelude that i have been slacking on posting pictures.

Put one coat of paint where i removed the sound deadening material to make it look better

Purchased an odyssey pc680 battery and holder from password jdm to relocate it to the trunk. Still have to mount it and run the wiring. Got 15 ft of 2ga power and ground wire.

My jdm front clip came in but like i was expecting the shipping company could give a **** less about it and bent the hood. I got $300 refunded from the company i purchased it from. Its not the prettiest front end but its better than what was on the car. Going to have a body shop straighten the hood for me. Ill worry about repainting the whole car after a while. Going to start drilling out the pinch welds holding the front core support in the next weekend and have a friend come over and re weld the new one in.

Also got an accord type r front lip and accord rear lip, Front and rear mud flaps, Rear speaker covers, Redline accessories shift boot and e brake boot. Within the next couple of weeks i will be buying a jdm engine. Probably going to just do the F22b non vtec to get the car up and going. Will be doing a timing belt kit and clutch kit before dropping in. Will be looking for a complete h22a change over the following year.
