Still yellow side turn light brown lampshade and worn door molding

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

The next changes happened in October, 2011.

The roof paint was very faded (and also the door molding) so I applied a carbon vinyl on it.
I replaced the yellow side turn lights to a white one, too.

The results:

And +1 where the 4WS can seen

In 2012 I repainted the valve cover with WHT Wrinkle Plus.

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

The 2013 was very exciting with many restoration.

In March I replaced my old exhaust. I found a used original Mugen Twinloop Catback with good price so I did not hesitate just bought it.

How it looked when I bought it:

It was pretty ugly so I took it to polish.

The result was much better:

My steering wheel was in bad condition too so I took it to a leather specialist.
Before:

After:

I always loved the OEM wheels but those were very scratched and the paint run off.
There is an alloy wheel factory at the nearby (with a friend who works in it) so he did some work with my old alloys.
Looks like the new:

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

At the beginning of 2014 I decided to renovate the brake system.

I choosed the EBC brand because I had heard many good about these brakes.

Some new stuff:
EBC Turbo Groove - Front Brake Discs with Zinc anti-corrosion coat
EBC Premium Disc - Rear
EBC Redstuff Brake Pads - Front and Rear
Brake Caliper restoration (with brake piston replacement)
DOT 4 Brake Fluid

In the summer I took the car for polishing. The result easily noticeable.

I bought a pair of JDM fog light too that summer.

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

The winter season in 2015 also started with some changes. I got some goodies for my Lude.

I bought a factory lowered suspension from a partout almost for free. It is lowered about 2,5 cm/ 1" and it is a bit stiffer than the original.

I love my ride with it

I just see the mudguards what I bought from a Lude bro.

Night running:

There is a huge Honda meeting in each year at the Kiskunlacháza airport where you can see thousands of Hondas from the conutry and from the neighboring countries too. This time I met with a good photographer (Rábel Csaba) who took some great photos. (And he has a 3rd gen Prelude with 4WS you can see it in the pictures)

A summer trip with bikes:

It is a genuine Prelude rack. I have gained it still with the JDM fogs from a part out.

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

And here are 2016. The year of the big alterations.

I found some corrosion at the left sill and both rear fenders. As I love my car and I want to keep it for a long time I decided to make a thorough work on it.
Pic from the left sill

I ordered two fender repair kit (sorry but I don't know how it is in English)

It is only aftermarket because I don't know about have been original.

After bodywork:

These are the last photos before painting. I can't wait to be ready.
No windshields no moonroof.

I almost forgot to write that I hided the rear fog. I think it just messed up the rear view.

Re: :::H22peet::: 1998 2.2 VTi

While the car is at the paint works I get some details for my Lude.

New screws, washers and clips

Some new original parts and liquids

And my big love, an original Type S lip straight from Japan. I hunting for months to find a nice piece. It is in quite good condition.

We just finished the car assembly to the international Honda car meet at Kiskunlacháza. Come to this place more than 1000 Hondas from Hungary and the nearby countries (Austria, Slovakia, Romaina, Szolvenia) in every year.

I caught the 2nd place at the saloon category.

Here is a bonus pic from coming home from Lacháza
