Re: :::tdg:::2001 SE

Good foundation. Solid plan.

Good luck finding the type s stuff. It's out there..just be patient.

If you can't find new parts or part outs are outta stock, car-part.com has used parts from around the world (if need be)

Oh, and NAPA has a surprising amount of oem stuff for our cars.

Sometimes the heat shield bolts rust and fall out so if a rattle returns check that before you panic.

Re: :::tdg:::2001 SE

some stuff on the accord...

drove that thing over 380, 000 kms/236, 000 miles and never died or broke down on me

if only i did not let it sit for years, i could have kept it alive (or could have got way more money for it)

it had a SOHC 2.3 l that put out 150 hp
also had double wishbone suspension on all 4 corners (which i still find surprising)

i stomped on that thing, a lot of fun for a sedan !!!

i let it sit for too long without driving it at all - a couple of years
and it would cost too much to get it road worthy again

- all the lines were rusted out, the suspension was shot, brakes, tires, ...
-the mice made the biggest nest i've ever seen in my life, the size and shape of a beachball in the trunk (should have taken a picture, it was really huge), and it stunk really bad, i'm also sure they made other nests

which is too bad, i could have got a couple of grand if i sold it a couple of years ago while it was still in decent condition and still had valid emissions

Nice pics of the prelude.
Sorry about the accord.
We had a 2000 accord V6 coupe that we passed to my nephew this past summer.
