did you have to do any modifications involving your firewall when you installed the skunk 2 IM?

Re: :::Boostdlude::: 1998 SH

It clears the firewall however does make the wiring a tight fit on the IAT

Re: :::Boostdlude::: 1998 SH

I've installed it both ways with the motor in and out. The first time I did it luckily it was out because removing the old gasket was a pain. The easier solution to removing the gasket is to remove all the studs and then use a razor blade to get it off.

Re: :::Boostdlude::: 1998 SH

Yeah i figured that one out the hard way too haah. All the gasket is off now thank god. Now one last problem, there is a metal hose connected to a rubber line going into a bit black box. That metal hose is running along the fire wall and is in my way to attach the iac... What did you do about that?
