:::Apexmen:::1992 Sr:::Canadian

This is my 4th gen build thread...from a stock semi-riced to a clean look and swap.

I have been looking for a 4th gen for a long time, and most of the Lude here(Canada) are in bad shape because of the winter and salt that they used on the road!

I managed to find this clean body(mostly) 4genner SR(Si in the US) with an H23. The motor was knocking like ****, steering was shaking due to over used suspension components, bad alignment, etc.

Here is the mod list:

Interior

96 SRV front leather seats
96 SRV rear leather seats
96 SRV rear seats divider
96 SRV leather door inserts (front +rear)
96 SRV center leather console + relocated e-brake
SRV 96 EL cluster
Skunk2 shift knob
OEM Type R shift knob stiched leather
Ubber rare tweeter fog switch
Custom painter headliner + all plastic (must take pics...I forgot)
Brand new OEM prelude black carpets

Suspension

ZEAL(ENDLESS) coilover (like the JUN lude lmao)
SPC camber kit (front+rear)
MEGAN racing rear toe kit
ESP.net front torque bar with adjustable caster
Energy black Poly swaybar bushing+link kit

Wheels + tires

Volk Racing 16x8 +35 wheels around (made a honda tuning front page feature on a silver 96 Si)
BFG KDW 225/45/16 all around

Brake

96 Vtec front caliper
Hawk HP+ brake pads
Brembo plain disc
EARLS SS brake lines
Blue dot fluid (something like that -_-)

Engine

F20B blue top Manual version (swapped) converted to OBD2..meanwhile
Type S air intake + custom 45* flange to fit 62mm TB
Vibrant new Tri-y headers 2.5"
Mandrel bent magnaflow exhaust line 2.5"
Type R oild cap (dress up)
ESP.net Traction bar
ESP.net all 3 poly engine mounts

Transmission

T2T4 LSD from accord Sir-T
Fidanza 8 lbs light flywheel
Bully stage 3 clutch (street)

Exterior

JDM black housing
92 amber front turn signal
Custom eyelids
EDM window visors (or jdm..got them from UK...so UK...)
JDM yellow fog lights
EDM rear lip (not installed)
Hiro side skirts(must command...)
Wingless(not shure yet...)

After searching a Lude for alot of time...from 17 to 19 I finally found one to my taste: clean, no rust
I saw soooo many beaten up exemplary I was shocked when I saw it the first time :)

There is the pic that was on the add:

The day when I got it 3 years ago.

Freshly arrived at the new home.

Pic of one of the ONLY cleanl modded 4G that inspired my build : Kevprelude. I used to see this car everywhere when I was about 15 and going to car show.

Some random pics I took in the first week

Interior pic (Old momo shifter and pedals lmao!!) Couldnt stand them for too long ----Notice the OG xbox toooo hahahhahaha

It was a little ricy so I changed things during the next summer just after to end up with this:

Back to oem tail's (old owner gave them to me at least)

Then I brought it back all up to stock (pic of a local meet)

Also bought Recaro SRD's red from a local jdm import. Though I sold them back and made money over them. I plan to buy black red stitch soon.

jdm headlight + eyelids+jdm Fog lights (Starting to look nice :):

Got the hella rare tweeter fog switch

Itr wheels and 25mm spacer (bye bye fast virus lmao):

Re: :::Apexmen:::1992 Sr:::Canadian

A pic after my swap has been done to replace my Rod knocking H23:

It's an F20B manual so about 200Hp with the type S cams, 62mm TB, 8000 stock rpm limiter...much better than my old engine and happy reving!

Also got the T2T4 lsd tranny, about 2900 rpm at 63 mph in 5th gear.....better on gas too

Some pics right after I installed the ITR's with the spacer:

Also some pics of the Blackhousing jdm I made off chrome headlight!

They were in really bad shape when I got them.

Though they werent sealed properly and water got in them after 2 months :(

I had paint the underside and corner's black...

Never seal with silicone.

I plan to reseal them but with another stuff pretty soon.

One of my friend had buy these wheels :

I have no pics of my lude Buddy but I'm sad he sold it :( It was a milano red wingless H23...real clean lude indeed!

When he got them:

Re: :::Apexmen:::1992 Sr:::Canadian

Then I got a local DEAL DEAL on this:

OG mugen wing.

I never installed it unfortunately and sold it to Zach "Campbell" last year because I needed money.

Though I'll be buying another one REALLY soon.

Also bought this:

New style vibrant headers 2.5" collector:

Then I also got the Type S intake for a cleaner look and more midrange:

I made an elbow for it with my old cold air! Cause air was leaking because it wasnt fitting my 62mm Tb properly.

Both in the Bay!

**Ps notice my custom cooling plate! Soon to be modded also!

More update later!!!

Its a beauty man! Didn't know such clean 92's existed in this part of the world...literally every single one I see is plagued with rust.

thanks for the kind comments :)

Most of the Lude in Canada are rusted you're right!

Which is why it took me soooo many time to find one

Everytime one looked clean on the sale add....it was a rust bucket.

Also got the FULL harness + spare fuel temp gauge + passenger window switch + cupholder...for 120$

Then I installed it this spring:

I know where you can find a mugen wing replica. IDK if your'e one of those "no i need the real deal" kind of guys. But its a good deal in my opinion, its made out of a solid plastic and its hollow so its not to heavy.

Re: :::Apexmen:::1992 Sr:::Canadian

These finally arrived.

I started sanding.

Guess what....while sanding...seems like the paint under the red what yellow???

hahhahaa IDK if they are from the JUN lude but only god knows

All sanded and primed.

Then painted.

The finish wasnt good on them, they missed ALOT of clear and buffing!

It was my first time doing so I didnt know how.

I made some research though...look the further post for a BETTER result
