I have always wanted to create a thread here, but she was stock for the longest and felt unworthy haha. Anways, a little history about when and how I got her.
I got my car in March 11th 2012. (1 yr anniversary just passed) It's my first official car, bought it with my hard earned money I bought it from an older gentlemen, it had its service manual, and dates on tune ups. Needless to say, the car was running like it was brand new.
My car, "Chloe" (because she's white and innocent, as well as a bad bitch haha) was stock for about a whole year due to working and full time schooling while helping the bro pay bills and stuff. So it was hard for me to actually spend money on Chloe, other than oil change and stuff to keep her running smooth.

August 2012- I did my first mod I wanted to focus on the security of my car so my friend and I installed a Nrg hub, with Nrg Quick Release and a Momo steering wheel.
September 2012- I had a 2 way pager installed as well as remote start (Love it)
Novemeber 2012- I went to the junkyard and got ridiculously lucky, I found a broken down H22 96 Prelude with it's cluster in mint condition.

This is how it looked afterwards, how it is today.

December 2012- I found some OEM Prelude window visors, I decided not to install them until I was able to drop my car.

Chloe's exterior stayed stock for about year, up until recently. February 2013, I found some Teinn SS, in perfect condition in my hometown for sale, so I told my brother to grab. and that he did lol.
Soon after, March 8th I found some sawblades for cheap and had to get those, because my stock Si's weren't cutting it haha. (pun intended ). It didnt come with tires, but my bro bro bought me some new Falken tires. Thanks Bro bro.

So this past weekend (3/16/13), I drove down to my hometown to install the coilovers, as well as the rims.

Here are a few pictures while putting everything on.

And here is how she looks so far. I only took one picture so far, but there will be more lol.
*Note* I have not installed the Window Visors yet because I was too lazy to get screws for the brackets lol.

Engine:
H23a1
Nrg spark plugs
OEM instake w/ K&N filter

Interior:
EL Cluster Conversion
Nrg Hub
Nrg Quick Release
Momo steering wheel

Exterior:
8K HID
OEM Prelude Window Visors (Still needs to be installed)

Suspension:
Stock Sawblades
Tein Super Street

ICE:
Sony head unit
Sony Explod Sub

Misc:
None.

Future Mods:
There is so much I want to do to it! For now:
-Foglights/w Tweeter Switch
-Fender Roll
-JDM One Piece Headlights
-Legit lip kit
-Buddy Club or Spoon exhaust
-H23 Vtec
-New Hood! (mine is a little dented up)
-HoodBra

I want to say thanks too all the Preludezone members out there, and my brother and friends. If it weren't for you guys I would not have been able to start, and love my car. I always lurked around and looked at almost all of the threads here to find inspiration.

I'll continue to keep my car, and Preludezone updated.

Very nice. Love your first mod btw. You're like one of my friends. First mod he wants to do is NRG quick hub release and aftermarket steering wheel so he can take it off and bring it with him.

Q: Does it just snap back in to place with ease?

Re: :::Thomasmeow::: 1992 Honda Prelude Si

Some JDM 1-pieces will look great at the front of that white body. I like the way it looks with no spoiler. White just seems to look sleeker on this body style than other colors.

Glad you decided to finally make a thread about her. We all appreciate a Prelude in OEM condition just as much as we do a modded one. Either way, I look forward to seeing what comes of her.

Thank Lindoso! Yeah I'm actually in the market of looking for a few parts with one pieces being one of it. I'm just being patient about it and hopefully it pops up somewhere. But j really appreciate your compliment, you and everyone else here inspired me. So it means a lot getting compliments from other prelude owners/ og prelude owners.

Welcome! And a very, very clean 4th Gen I might add. If you don't mind me asking sir, how do you like your Tein Super Streets? I've been in the market recently for a set of new coilovers for my 4th Gen, how do they ride, and also how is the drop capabilities?

Thanks guys! And I highly recommend The Super Streets. As for myself I have the SS without the pillowball, but so far its been driving like a dream. Not too stiff, and not too bouncy. Its rides really well and I highly recommend them, Lol but this is the only coilovers I've had on my car. Lol I don't want to sound biased, but so far its really good. Its about +900, you get what you pay for. Its worth it in my opinion. Lol

Re: :::Thomasmeow::: 1992 Honda Prelude Si

Update!

Unfortunately, my motor took a dump. I was driving back from the bank and started hearing a loud grinding noise. It was extremely loud, but my car was driving perfectly fine. Still, the noise scared the crap out of me. I sent the video to my brother to see what he thought it was, he thought it was the tranny (I was hoping since my third grinded a little rather than anything else). I needed a working car for school and work, so my brother told me drive it home (across the state lol) and use my mothers car while he diagnosed it. So I drove to my hometown in an hour and a half almost ****ting my pants with every noise. Two days after, the mad scientist determined that the motor started giving out. So now were going to swap my h23 nonvtec. Its either going to have a JDM H22 or H23 Blue top. Eh. (Thanks Brotha). Wish me luck.

Hahah yeah, I always go to him when I can't figure things out on my car.

At the moment I'm trying to decide what motor to get. I really don't want to deal with a OBD2, but yet I want the blue top.

Re: :::Thomasmeow::: 1992 Honda Prelude Si

Lots to choose from. Pretty sure both H22A and H23A came in OBD1 and OBD2 so just make sure it's OBD1 before buying.

F20B is another option, usually costs half the price of an H motor and makes similar power but less torque.

Hmotorsonline is where I go to window-shop motors at. lol

edit: here http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30029
$1200 for 92-95 Spec (OBD1) 200hp/161tq 10.6 compression

Haha thanks Wegzzz. I don't really dig the F20 haha. Its either going to be the JDM H22 or Blue Top H23. Ive been reading around all day, and I'm actually going to start messaging a few people on here who has done the Blue top swap for more precise answers. Haha cause there's a lot of mixed answers about that motor, but if all else fails I'm going for the H22. The good thing is is that I found both motors nearby my area with legit receipts.
