Yes sir I'm ready for it very soon. I probably wouldn't have modified the hood had my car not been backed into, has a little crease behind drivers door to be fixed so figured why not. Went ahead and collected the oem lip kit and the type s spoiler for paint.

Bykfixer this thing has been an ongoing project for about the last 5 years or so, I'm always changing something on her. I'm hoping after paint and getting my header/exhaust on I cab finally take a break from changing stuff. Maybe for a little while at least

Raised the latch very little if any. Mainly the hood needed to be slid forward. The spacers helped to pitch the front of the hood down a little more and fit a little tighter. I saw this on a white 5th gen and immediately fell in love. That car is in some other country like Russia or something though.

Nah man there isn't any light refracting off of the inside of the hood and its such a tight fit that there isn't any light shining from under there. It also doesn't affect lighting much if at all, I can't tell a difference with hood open or closed standing outside at night with the light shining across the yard.

Found some legend coupe calipers and brackets in the junk yard and couldn't pass them up.

Have the 28mm thick legend brembo blanks, hawk hps pads, and some stainless braided lines on the way now as well

Yeah man thanks, I got both of them with brackets for less than $30 out the door from the local junkyard. While I'm waiting on the rest of the stuff to come I did a test fit today while I was off work.

My main concern was the caliper brackets already touch my RSX rims and I thought that the bigger brakes would require a spacer but the caliper bracket winds up in the same place.

Re: :::bigblue7t6::: 2001 EBP base

Today, I traded my old seibon carbon fiber hood, for a VIS carbon fiber trunk, now, I have to decide if I want to paint my cf trunk at time of paint or do I just clear it and leave it at that, not sure how I will like the contrast of the flush mount spoiler sitting directly on it. Decisions decisions

Your spoiler blue?

Me personally, I'd do the trunk blue and spoiler black... but that's me.

I'm sure whatever you do will be cool as kim deal.

Re: :::bigblue7t6::: 2001 EBP base

Luckily my hood was still off from trading the other day and I been in the integra going back and forth to work, although I would have rather wrecked that car! So I broke out the drill and removed the spot welds from the bulk head. Pulling measurements off my silver 5th gen I think the unibody is unscathed aside from the bulk head. So got my parts ordered and waiting. While waiting on the stuff to get here I decided to delete my cruise control, Egr solenoid and supporting vacuum lines, evap and related stuff, moving battery to trunk and moving the fusebox inside glovebox and gonna try to tuck as much wire as I can without cutting anything.

You play it off like it's no big thing...Carolina style.
Most folks I know would be all shook up their car was crashed.
Did the air bags deploy?

Parts car in stock is a handy thing.

Nice job on the brakes.

May I ask, what brand of cover is that on your car?
Was that a Millwalkee drill? I love my 12 volt.

It was a big deal at the time but she cranked right back up and assured me that we were ok, surprisingly the airbags did not deploy, still blows my mind when I think about it.

The silver 5th gen I have is another functioning vehicle, I just pulled the tag off of my blue one and put it on the silver to drive it, it just doesn't have a/c right now but gonna try to fix it this weekend.

The car cover is the oem honda cover, it had never been used until I put it on her after the wreck.

And that gun is just a 20v black and decker pecker wrecker it died like every 5 welds I had to drill, it is good for hanging pictures and that's about it lol

Re: :::bigblue7t6::: 2001 EBP base

I bought a 12volt millwalkee for about $175. Used it to compound a car. Each battery lasted like 45 minutes of near continual use and recharge in about 20. It came with a coupon for a 3rd for $0 but I never had to use it. Dat b1+ch is bad. Big tourque for 12 volt.

I noticed you said tag not tag(s) lol.
When I lived in greensoro nc it was nice to have a decoration where the front plate goes.

Glad you're back on the road.

No deploy huh? Awesome!!!! That's like $8 gazillion you don't have to spend.

Re: :::bigblue7t6::: 2001 EBP base

Yes sir Milwaukee makes some good stuff. I received my depo headlights yesterday, and got the bulkhead in the mail today and mocked it up, everything appears to fit well. I have to modify the radiator feet on it when my half size radiator gets here and then I will be having the bulkhead painted before I spot weld it on. Also will be having the spoiler and lip kit done at this time, then reassemble the car enough to drive it to have the rest of it painted. Hopefully when I am done it will be better than it has been since I have owned it. A little pic update...

Re: :::bigblue7t6::: 2001 EBP base

Passenger side received a little damage but negligible, a little hammer/dolly work and a dallop of bondo will fix it up, the drivers side got bent in the corner ever so slightly but I can bend it back straight by hand. I have another passenger fender but want to keep the factory ones with the matching vins together if possible. Didn't get to do much today, had to cut the grass after work. Bykfixer I have been watching your twins thread, just lurking makes me want to find an old 3rd gen in good shape and restore one like you are, I know the red one has been a frustration for you but that is a sharp looking prelude
