:::DEPOG's 98' project Lude-AKA Jezebel:::

1998 Prelude Base. Retrieved it on November 17th, 2012 from Element600RR

The car is in pretty decent shape and we are excited to have it. Corey started a great project and just didn't want to finish it, we are happy to take over.

Missing when the car was received: proper wheels, Front bumper, hood, headlights, front seats, misc. interior panels, tail lights, gauge cluster, shifter assembly, And a drivetrain.....

Luckily between Josh, Kenny, Jake, and myself, we have almost everything needed to put it back together.

The car has S.S. brake lines, Tein S-Tech springs, rolled fenders, and a partially shaved engine bay.

picking her up:

this hood was purchased by a DEPOG member and left on the car for transport.

break for lunch.

Re: :::DEPOG's 98' project Lude-AKA Jezebel:::

A little dark, but you can see the bay has been started on by corey. the rad support is great, but the filler has to come out of the bay, it wasn't primed and I can see the rust coming through. Also the fender rolling wasn't sealed and they are rusting as well. We'll tackle this when the weather gets warm.

The parts for this car are almost all in our collective posession.
here's a pic of the springs and brake lines

First thing purchased, a staggered set of ap1's on toyo proxies
these will probably be sanded and polished, there is minor curbage on two of the wheels.

30mm spacers w/ extended studs in the back...

trunk full of junk!.... errrr parts.

Wing8806 and myself sourced some tan interior for this car, we think it's a great addition.

imagining the day when this car runs lol

the new dash.

cleaning up the new seats.

parts still needed:
• Gauge cluster
• Radio
• Rear speakers
• Front bumper
• Battery
• Hood
• Header

parts acquired:
• Wheels and tires
• Wheel spacers/ extended wheel studs
• Tail lights
• Spoiler
• Head lights
• Both sets bumper lenses
• Motor
• Transmission
• Seats
• Dash
• Visors
• Rear brake rotors and pads
• Front brake pads
• Clutch
• Flywheel
• Shifter assembly
• Shift knob
• Shift boot
• Catalytic converter/ bolts
• Intake
• Front crossmember

you jus couldn't help yourself could you?

I've had a set of extra headlights lying around for quite some time, in fact I forgot I even had them. Bought them with missing top tabs and yellowing lenses.
I sourced a sheet of polypopylene plastic a while back and purchased a plastic welder. here are the results, new headlight tabs.

you can see it has been grinded down quite a bit and is shaped a bit better. also notice how terrible the lense looks

here is the final result of the welded tabs w/ new u-nuts (honda wont sell these so I had to source some, daunting task.)

notice the difference, freshly polished up top, yellow at bottom.

full shot of finished lense.

Re: :::DEPOG's 98' project Lude-AKA Jezebel:::

recently acquired a free short ram intake from bykfixer, it's pitted pretty badly but I'm going to sand and polish it, or powdercoat it.

picked up this wicked invidia exhaust from element600rr

you can barely see it, but behind the exhaust is also a transmission we picked up from element as well. The car is well on its way to having 100% of the parts needed for completion.

thanks! a lot of work, but they turned out pretty good.
we might do something similar to what was on there before, but might be stock lights for the time being. that type s wing will be installed asap though!

we're going to do our best to get her in one piece. Won't be exactly what you had, but she'll be clean.

thanks man. Going to wrap the head liner, console cover, rear deck, and door panel inlays in tan suede, should look nice. We've decided against tan carpet and center console.

it was purchased by one of the DEPOG crew members for his own car. We aren't sure what direction we are going to go with the hood, but probably OEM

word?
We will take what we can get! I forgot all about that front emblem and extended studs. Seems like whenever we get together, we get to talking and tend to forget things lol.
I'm even considering moulding the type s lip to the type s bumper I have, and installing it on this car instead of my CBM 99'.

I recently built two nice sets of shelves in my basement, and founds some parts I thought were long gone.

p.s. bykfixer just donated some minty OEM rear speakers and clips from the factory harness to us
thanks man.

It's kind of funny someone mentioned early about your first lude being jealous and this car being named Jezebel given its importance to the Bible. No one likes a Jezebel lol but hey maybe this one will be different

no tan console, we passed on it because it was beat up, and the guy wanted too much money. He didn't have both the door panels either, just one

I was about to ask the same thing. Once I put my Vibrant header on, the DC will probably just sit around, so you guys can have it if you want it, even if it's just temporary.

not sure what we're going to do for a header....... we have 3 of the rarest headers on our personal cars.............. so we might go outrageous, but probably not at first.
