:::elspectro29::: 1993 S

You may or may not know the story of how I got this car. My previous 4th gen was totaled, so I set out for a replacement for it, eventually coming across this one and many spare parts along with it. I got a few parts out of my 95 to put in this one, but for the most part it's the same as when I bought it (for now, anyway. I want to add my own touch to it over time.)

(These photos make it look like it's cleaner than it really is. It needs clear coat across most of the upper sections and paint on the hood and in a few smaller spots. Also has a bit of Honda rust.)

Engine:
F22A1
F22A6 cam
AEM V2 intake
DC header
Opak Racing exhaust

Interior:
Forbidden Motorsports short shifter
Rear floor mats removed
Weighted shift knob
94-96 tweeter covers

Exterior:
Accord front & rear lips
JDM one-piece black housing headlights
JDM door visors
OEM sunroof visor (12/1/12)
94-96 nostrils (2/23/13)
Fog light holes cut out (had fogs but sold them)
OEM front & rear mud guards (summer 2013)

Suspension:
SE blades with curb rash
Skunk2 lowering springs
KYB struts
Suspension Techniques rear sway bar

ICE:
Sony Xplod deck (needs new toggle switch)
JDM half-mast antenna
VTEC rear 6x9 (not wired) (3/8/15)

Future mods (God willing):

H22 EL cluster
VTEC leather door cards
Redo clear coat

He never said anything about them, so I assumed they were nothing special, but now that I know that...

Thanks to everyone for the compliments so far. I'm hoping to do some work on it tomorrow while the weather's nice.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

Nope, those are the old ones. I spent a couple hours at my local junkyard today ripping apart a '92 4WS, getting, among other things, the full nostril setup out, so I have the choice of 92-93 or 94-96 nowtrils. Either way the mounting bracket for the ones that are on there now has broken, so I want to get another one on there. Just need to super glue the 92 passenger side one back together. I also removed some of the paint from the spare valve cover, but not all of it, so I need to finish that.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

So you're the one who made all those scrapes on it...and thanks.

Next step should be changing nostrils. The odd thing is that's what led me to the junkyard in the first place; when I tried to switch them this morning I noticed a couple screws missing, so I went there to find them. The Prelude the junkyard's website had listed was a 1996 S (production number 84) that had been there since October. I don't even know if it's still there; I saw the much fresher 4WS (which wasn't listed) and began pulling parts off it.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

I took the plate bracket off today and put the stock plate mount back on. Smashed my plate a few times...
also added a few more future mods to my wish list.

Nice lude, looks good on those SE rims!

The way you have the rear lip set up, it looks incomplete IMO without the rear mudflaps.

I'll be keeping an eye on this build.

That would be something cool, maybe with the opposite generation's logo on the frame...
