Yep, nice indeed. Who did you have to knock off to get those wheels?

Thanks guys. Found them at an engine import warehouse about 2 hours away. Great guys, great prices (H23Vs for $600!) They aren't perfect, but for $400 I'm not complaining.

It is Hopewell, near City Point in the first 2 pics and next to some factories in the last 3.

Coming together so nicely. Not many ludes I'm envious of, but I have a feeling you do quality work and yours will be one impressive lude when things are said and done.
Those rims are just made for the lude! Too clean, just too clean....smh

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

Thanks. It still has some work to be done...needs new clear coat/maybe paint, a bit of body work, and I want to get an H22 for it. In the meantime, here's a new one. Would you believe this was with my phone?

Mine is also 8MP (I'm pretty sure), Galaxy S3. That'll be the last pic on the ITRs for awhile; I put the SEs back on today to prepare for Skyline.

Not that Skyline, this one

Believe me, I'd like an R32, but they won't be eligible for import until next year, and they'll be out of my price range for awhile.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

Finally settled on what type of engine build I want to do: turbo F22. But then, which version? My A1/A6 hybrid, or a B2, or maybe a B2 with an A6 cam...decisions, decisions...

On another note, we found a 2003 TL Type-S in the junkyard today. Got a few parts eyeing to retrofit them. Door lights, ash trays, and the awesome dome light that also contains a garage door opener and sunglasses holder. And that grey marble. I also wanted to try out the seats but they were ripped. Oh well, more will show up...

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

The TL courtesy lights are almost the same shape as the Prelude/Accord/CL lights, but the bulbs are more user-friendly. I'm not sure what kind of bulb they are but they look like I'd have an easier time finding/making different color bulbs than the other ones.

The ashtrays from that TL fit perfect in the rear of a 5th gen.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

It's been awhile but I haven't totally forgotten about this car. In the past year or so it's lost more clear coat and had its distributor replaced, but other than that nothing major. Yesterday we went to the junkyard and found a 1994 VTEC, so I got a few parts from it: leather door cards, EL cluster (again), and the rear 6x9.

6x9 installation

To do list:
Install EL cluster (plug and play)
Install leather door cards (since it's a 1993 I have to do something about the mirror switch)
Replace valve cover gaskets and spark plugs
Redo clear coat
Replace radio toggle switch since I broke it

Yeah, most of my pics were from FB. At first after I got rid of it they were still there (at least a month) but eventually they disappeared

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

The ole gal is illin' from no crank woes.

She sits on a narrow, busy street at a spot I'm not allowed.
Battery swap, starter swap, and clutch safety switch checked later...ignition switch is next.

If that isn't it we'll tow it to pop's shop's and commence to operating on the inside of the dashboard/steering console.

#93 has a new owner....

My wife's middle son just bought it for his 21st birthday so at least we'll get to see it often.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

ahh yes, that fresh feeling of your 1st 4th gen baby, did he drive it yet by that point the pic was taken? It's pretty hard to tell. Thats either an "I drove it" smile or an "I can't wait to drive it" smile.

Re: :::elspectro29::: 1993 S

Well, dude is learning to drive a stick shift while waiting for the courts to allow him to get an actual drivers license.

Troubled past led to suspended priveledge and he bought a car to celebrate part of the life on a straight path.
Oh, and yeah he'd just returned from the maiden voyage where he'd driven his first car succesfully and taken off without shutting off the car 3 times in a row.

I had quite a few fun moments in this car. I’ll miss it
