:::Azwethinkweiz::: 1997 SH

Howdy PZ, picked this SH up a few months ago with some motor/ paint issues, and some hfp civic rims I wasn't too fond of, at the time... But now i love them. But other then that completely stock... probably still paid too much for it but got the lude I wanted... thats what counts right?? haha-(keep telling myself that)

This is what it looked like after I drove it back home (well, to a friends house to get it cleaned)

Then after installing coilovers (form and function) all the way low + lip + new paint, the front doesnt go too low unless you put on the stock tophat on the F&F's, apparently, which I didn't care to do, after a while back settled out and went lower then the front... As seen in this pic

So with the coils settled after a few hundred miles of driving I raised it up a bit (I live down a rough dirt road) and leveled it out and got an alignment + new tires, this is how it sits now and I'm pretty happy with it... the wheels have grown on me too.

and the necessary instagram pic (favorite pic so far)

Engine: Stock except ngk wires and plugs. Fixed: replaced all gaskets, seals on the top end, new distributor cap, pcv valve, timing belt adjusted properly (was off 4 teeth!! Made the engine vibe like crazy)

Interior: Mugen shifter
Mugen pedal set
Other then that, tan/black stock

Exterior: Eucalytpus Green, Added an OEM lip + new vtec and sh stickers. Brand new paint on the front bumper, lip hood, roof and spoiler. (Had horrible sun damage)
10k HIDs

Suspension: Form and function type 1 coilovers
Honda Factory Performance 17" wheels
Nitto Gen tires

ICE: Sony single din deck
Pioneer amp
Pioneer 10" sub x2

Future stuff: retrofits (lights) (I wanna keep the car stock for the most part)
Also need to replace my right oil pressure sensor on atts if anyone is selling :)

That's about all I can think of now haha, thanks for the nice forums I have already made use of much of the handy info here.

Looks great! I'd suggest getting the oem sides and rear as well to complete the look so you don't have such a fat front lip and thin looking sides/rear. Just my 2 cents :) Regardless, still a pretty clean looking lude!

Thank you! Yeah I think the wheels go really well with the paint too, I didn't like them at first but now I really do. I like that they're honda too just so they match... though it doesnt really matter.

Yeah thanks, I was thinking the same thing... I think I'm gonna wait till the city paves my sh*tty road before I get the sides and rear as right now I'm already scraping everywhere... now to wait till the end of this year... lol

Thank you! Yeah a lot of people seem to like their ludes even lower but to me it is at the perfect height, looks racier this way IMO. And yeah I feel like a major doucher for using instagram but ehhh. lol

Thank you! Yeah I think the stock look is the best (or most feasible for me), plus I think its much harder to pull off really aggressive lips/bumpers etc... The FF's ride really nice! You feel bumps more but I live down a rough road and its still not too bad. I believe the type 1 spring rates for the prelude are 12k front and 6k back, so they are not too aggressive. My cousin who has the koni yellows and ground control combo says they feel exactly the same as his ride, and I would agree.

Thank you! Yes, it is one of the OEM colors... and if my research is correct, it is called "Eucalyptus Green". Used through 97-98 while "Ficus Green" was use 99+. I thought my car was Ficus at first, but I had a chance to see a 2000 lude in green, and it was a darker more pearly color, while eucalyptus is more of a grassy color IMO.

Thanks for the comments again!
