:::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

DC5 wheels and clear indicators installed, I know I need to lower! I really need to find a softish spring.

Bought it in February and loving it! know its stock but stock can look good too !

So far I've just painted the window sidestrips because they looked horrible, did the timing belt and bought clear indicators, going to order some good brake pads and a K&N drop in soon. Still deciding whether to mod or not.

Engine:
H22A4 stock
H23 Manual tensioner conversion

Interior:
Stock

Exterior:
Clear indicators

Suspension:
Integra type R Aus spec gun metal wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport.

ICE:
Stock

Future Mods:
Possibly sway bars, painting sideskirts, decent tyres and soundsystem.

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

I want that climate control head... Can that be adapted to a LHD USDM 'Lude?

By the way, Gorgeous Prelude. I'm envious of RHD and your incredible paint job!

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

Thanks everyone!

I'm seriously thinking of some S2000 wheels, I just hate the how they're both 2 different sizes and rotating different sized wheels on a pretty neutral car can be scary when driven hard.

Also lowering I'd really hate to ruin the perfect ride quality :P If I could find a spring with really soft springs rates I'd think about it, had a celica a while back on Eibach prokit and that thing was bone jarring to the point of never wanting a lowered car.

I'm waiting for a sunny day, been raining constantly in Australia :( also need to borrow my brothers SLR camera so I can get some more shots somewhere good.

Why's everyone envious of right hand drive?

Looks great. In the 1st pic it almost looks like it had a metalic paint job.

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

I suggest (if you want to retian a decent ride) is to get some Tein Basic coilovers. They are quite soft, yet a bit more stiff over the OEM.

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

haven't had a respray but it is probably the best paint job I've had on a car, still has a couple imperfections, passenger side needs a bit of a respray on the top of the door.

this photo is without photoshop and after a detail, just looks a little darker red.

Yeah I would love to see how well these things handle with coilovers, they handle amazingly well considering how soft they are, double wishbone ftw!

As for driving side, I only know RHD :P.

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

Just a small update - been taking some dslr shots and loving it but still getting used to the camera. Picked up some Aus Spec Integra Type R wheels cheap with decent tyres, they're nice and light but might need a spacer at the front because they come stupidly close to the caliper, Also got bosch spark plugs, was going to go NGK but had to wait for them to be shipped because Australia sucks sometimes...slowly prepping for a trackday.

Old ones had been in there for way too long! Really should do the leads and some other tune up parts so going to look at what intervals Honda recommends, They weren't even misfiring being that worn lol.

I like them and they're nice and light but I get over them at night, they look ALOT better in the day for some reason.

Re: :::Euphoria::: 1998 Prelude VTI-R

So had some weird issues getting locked out of gear, checked all my linkages and hydraulics, could of only been clutch.

Then I found this.

Couldn't help buying these for $100

soon to order konis, RDA rotors, hawk pads and braided brake lines.

Soooo new clutch and new springs!

And I just gotta reiterate- nice job keeping the car so clean. That pic after the wash brings out it's beauty.
