Also.... Why are those tweeters pointed DOWN?!? hahaha

And are tweeters that far away from the ear even helpful? I thought they had to be pretty close? (These are serious questions, since I'm not so knowledgeable on speakers)

Not sure on which pic your asking about the inner qtr panels are white I believe that was original Color of the car the alpine boxes are the controllers for the component speakers seperate the low and highs. And the grey boxes on outside are the areas I sanded off all the rust treated then put primer on. Hope that helps.

You can hear them over the front speakers but. Not as nice as if they were up front I only put them in the back because my nephews love to listen to music in the car and the sound perfect from the rear seats. I'll be getting another set to install in the door / dash area to clean up the front sound as well. As far as why pointed down was best looking place to install them clean and they are still above heads of most that sit in the back.

Re: :::Darkwolfca::: 1993 S

finally got the new fuel sending unit i ordered from Honda installed it and then finished installing the si rear seat and console. when i pulled out out unit it was bent so i lifted the prelude and found the gas tank was dented but I used a piece of closet dowel and hammer to carefully bend it back out to be able to install the new sending unit.

Re: :::Darkwolfca::: 1993 S

the tweeters i was just tring to find a spot to put them that was simple and are more for my nephew when they ride in the back. they also sound fine where they are are alot better then the crappy full range in the front doors until i can get another set of components for the front. wasn't enough room to flush mount them and the other mount set looked like wierd satallites lol

Re: :::Darkwolfca::: 1993 S

well water pump started leaking so ordered a new water pump, balancer belt, timing belt, drive belts, radiator hoses, misc gaskets, themostat, ngk plug wires, and some misc vacum hose figure since got it apart might as well do the other stuff. also painted the valve cover while it's off.

Re: :::Darkwolfca::: 1993 S

a update i got the entire car back together all belts done and water pump, replaced all radiator hoses, cap, rotor, wires, and a new battery and it runs like a champ of course smog was due so i took it down to get it smogged and the guy told me they wont smog it because it is a swaped motor and not the f22. so now i have to wait til the B.a.r. call center is open so i can take to a refree station and hope they will ok the engine in the car.(gotta love california smog lol) from what i can tell it looks like only the block is the f20 the rest is the f22 stuff, and all the smog equipment is still hooked up. so hope all goes well with that.

Re: :::Darkwolfca::: 1993 S

thanks the valve cover color is actually hemi orange engine paint lol had some laying around. i swapped over the si sunroof, power doors, and trunk with spoiler now took car to smog ref he was real cool made me a sheet saying that the engine was legal in the car but he did say that the aftermarket flex plate had to be changed since it had no timing marks so ordered that and a new cat today to hopefully put on in next couple of weeks.
