:::slatelude::: 1995 VTEC

Short intro: I've owned a prelude, of the 4th gen variety for over 11 years now. The following is the life summary of my 'ludes.

After living through many of the fads (hideously overdone body-kits, dual exhaust, bright interior colors, rusted hoods, bombed ______....)
I've basically come to the conclusion that I want to build a car that tastefully represents the genre that is tuning. To kind of explain
what I mean think about late 60's/early 70's muscle cars: flat black hoods/trunks/graphics, 5-spoke Cragars, pistol grip or T-bar shifters, etc.,
or maybe gangsta rap: clean lowriders, wire spoke rims, white leather, chrome, hydraulics.

So, that being said, and I may change things here and there, but basically to create an overall representation of who we are as tuners. I think
its safe to say that slightly larger "race inspired" wheels, carbon fiber parts/accents, slightly embellished body/lip kits, simplified/clean engine
bays, HiFi stereos, and tastefully accented clean interiors, retrofitting parts, and just an overall quick and nimble look shows the love that is "tuning".

I build my car the way I like, to my tastes. I love talking with others about it, about their cars, their ideas, likes/dislikes, what modifications, why,
how I/they achieved a certain look, and most of all talking with people about their car philosophies, and helping others find their own. On to the cars!

Name:
Kevin
Car and color:

Then it rolled 200,000miles while I was riding with my friend who had the following sitting in his garage. I was about to drop $3-4k on a new motor and he offered me this for $5k.
Yeah, it already had some work done, but I'd done the ground up thing, and it only had 92k on it! Here's a artistic pics of the two together, then we'll get on to the evolution:

I'm currently leaning towards Velocity Red Mica (Mazda) and doing a matte clear coat on the carbon fiber & matte graphite on the roof/spoiler.

The shiny-est, most perfectly body-lined 4th gen I've seen.
Lovin the front lip, and would totally pay you to make me some BMW fog lights like those.

Re: :::slatelude::: 1995 VTEC

Thanks man! but pics do hide a lot, lol! Fog lights really aren't that hard, and I probably only have $90 invested in them including the JDM fog switch; a little time intensive, but here's the write-up to help you along:

JDM foglights schmoglights..

I have no doubt you can handle that considering you've already accomplished with your ride! Yell at me with any questions if you decide to take it on.
