:::aj24::: 1997 Prelude SH

Well, PZ I've been wanting to make one of these for awhile, its winter so don't have to many good pictures just yet, but this thread will be updated, here goes.

My names Adam, I'm 17 and this is my first car. Love the Preludes, I was stuck on SVT from Ford for awhile until this car grew on me. I'm a JR in high school. Work at a normal job and do side jobs when I can for extra cash. I bought the car as is except for whats in blue. I've had her since the end of October of 2010. I'm the only one that I know of in Kenosha with a black 5th gen, makes many heads turn. Especially when I make my VTEC go BWAHHHH. Here is my build thread

Engine:

H22a4 DOHC VTEC
DC Sports Header
Custom 2.5" Exhaust (great sound)
AEM Cold Air Intake
AEM Pulleys
New Starter
New Battery
APEXi VAFCII Vtec Controller/High Flow Air Convertor
12 pound lightened FIDANZA Flywheel with stock Clutch

Interior:
Wal-Mart Rubber Winter Floormats
All Stock

Exterior:

OEM Taillights
SEIBON Carbon Fiber Hood
Mud Flaps
Trunk P R E L U D E debadged
Stock SH Rims wrapped by all season tires
Amber LED Parking Lights
Carbon Fiber Gas Cap

Suspension:

Stock SH Suspension

I.C.E:

Alpine Headunit
Stock Speakers

M.I.S.C:

Blue Neon Underglow
Running Quaker State 5w30 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil
93 Octane Pump Gas
Pedafile Bear Stickers, Windshield and 2 side mirrors
Hondas warranty, 100k Tune up (Spark plugs, Wires, etc.)
Viper Alarm System Removed
Front License Plate Relocated

Future Mods/Plans:

Tranny and Brake Fluid complete flush and change
Window Tint
Rims
Fix Rust
New Headunit
JTC Customs Short Shifter
New Headlights (or fix OEMs, moisture gets in them)
Possibly new Header
Possibly lower

Future Mod list can go on forever, these are just a few that are wandering in my mind once the season changes, Wisconsin sucks haha

Updates in Blue

Thanks for lookin PZ! Thread will stay updated as things change, more pictures up soon

Re: :::aj24::: 1997 Prelude SH

you could just smoke out those taillights. that way they wouldn't look like altezzas.

Re: :::aj24::: 1997 Prelude SH

Ya I could smoke them, but I like the prelude OEM tails so I'm just going to switch them out, like I said bought the car as it sits right now, lil odds and ends work done to it but thats about it until it gets warmer out

Re: :::aj24::: 1997 Prelude SH

I saw that you said your motor is an H22a1 and I was wondering if a previous owner did a swap into your car because 5th gens only came with an h22a4. It might just be a typo but I was just checking. Im not trying to call you out, just trying to lend some advice if in fact there was an obd1 motor in your obd2 car.
