:::719lude::: 2001 Base

I have been with the site for awhile and i just now chose to make a page. I got my car in May 2010. I know the whole thing is "built not bought" but my car took a crap on me and i needed a car quick and ran into this. I kinda got tired of seeing all these civics around and wanted to set myself apart instead of following the crowd. Let me know what ya think. Thanks for lookin.

Engine:
H22a4
H23 Timing Belt Conversion Kit
AEM Short Ram Intake
No Name Headers
Magnaflow High Flow Cat
A/C Delete
Looped P/S Lines
Innovative Mounts Alternator Relocator Bracket

Interior:
JTC Customs Short Shifter
Skunk2 Weighted Shift Knob
ITR Yellow Stitch Boot
Carbon Fiber Dash Kit
15% Window Tint

Exterior:
5000k H.I.D Kit
Rota C10's

Suspension:
Skunk2 Lowering Springs
Neuspeed Front Strut Bar

ICE:
Pioneer Head Unit
Pioneer Component Speakers

This is how it was when i got her. Had 119k miles, and had no name headers, straight piped exhaust with a 01 civic si muffler and skunk2 lowering springs, rota c10 16 inch rims, neuspeed strut bar.

Well since i only have been working 2 days a week and having bills my build list has not gotten very far. Its pretty much stayed the same except for 15% window tint, magnaflow high flow cat (got tired of hearing the rasping) DC sports muffler, DC sports short shift adapter, h23 timing belt conversion kit, and some stickers. Got more planned soon but it will take awhile.

This is how she sits now

Re: :::719lude::: 2001 Base

yeah the muffler was given to me, i dont really like it too much but i was getting tired of the 01 si muffler. I was looking around for a magnaflow muffler or a greddy spectrum elite cat back exhaust

I love all EBP bb6s... the color is the best Honda oem color IMO. Nice ride.

Nice, let me know when you're about to take the condenser out of the dash area so I can show you the right way to do it.

Well got the crankshaft pulley replaced, swapped for a shorter belt so i could delete the a/c. And got the system purged for the a/c delete. Also hid the alternator wire :D now next job loop the p/s lines but will be awhile before i tear into that.

The bay looks so much cleaner!

Still have to remove the bracket :/

No more blocking the radiator :D

Now just waiting on my hid kit, fogs, clear bumper lights and clear sidemarkers.... ups takes too long...

Re: :::719lude::: 2001 Base

Well finally got the tuck done! whatcha think? Finally making some progress with this car!

Well picked up something new..... Skunk2 intake manifold ...... $150 from this guy that i go to school with.

Going to install it soon and since i took off my power steering belt im going to loop my lines when i have the manifold off just to make it easier on me

After the manifold and looping my p/s lines probably going to get me a new header, paint my valve cover, replace my calipers to the acura legend twin piston calipers, relocate battery to trunk..... Just a few things to keep me busy

Well i finally got off my lazy ass and looped my power steering lines. It was not too much of a pain but i dont know if i took a harder way or not. instead of trying to reach from the bottom i took off my intake mani and it was right there

Looking good, the 4th gen pump is on the bottom of the rack so I got to spend my day laying underneath feeling around for hardware. Takes a bit of getting used to but looped lines>ps any day in my book.

i took off all the wire loom covering and wrapped it all in electrical tape pulled it under the side of the driver side motor mount and ran it between the oil dipstick and motor and under the alternator.

thank you sir. Thats whats i was going to end up doing but with my bad back i thought it would be easier to get it all from the top. That skunk2 intake mani is a bit wider than the stock one so i had to take it off. it seems a bit easier all around. now on the list for today is to tuck some more wires and clean it up a bit maybe remove the condenser from the dash. maybe meet up today or later on tonight? hit me up if your not busy
