looks good, loop that alternator wire bundle under the motor mount, behind the dipstick, and under the alternator and it will look a lot better. thats what i did with mine after i got rid of my p/s.

nice how u put the mudflap back onto the accord rear lip, just like how mine is, some people cut the lip to fit it to the mudflap and it just looks weird...

i'm running 205/50/16...so in other words the same outside diameter as stock so the speedometer reads correctly still. the gap on mine fills pretty nicely but the only downside is that i'm not slaaaaaammed! oh well...function>form anyday

Re: :::eludeauthority::: 1993 Si

a few updates...
i bought 9 feet of vacuum hose and rerouted all the egr hoses and the electrical dodad on the driver side of the bay...also tucked the alternator hose and am beginning the a/c deletion stages...

egr tuck?

tucked the injector wires, rerouted the vacuum hose, and replaced that coolant hose by the intake that looked unsightly

cleaned up the battery cables as well as all those exposed connectors

and by the way the valve cover doesn't look that haggard in real life...damn point and shoot cameras with flash...

Re: :::eludeauthority::: 1993 Si

how about some old old pics (as in 1 year ago) from the first days of ownership. bought the car from a somewhat rice boy so the usual altezzas and dumb chrome wheels were on.

that was one haggard bay...yuck!

a little better but cluttered...

just found some oem tail lights...with the heavy chrome rollers and altezza

off road status! i was embarrassed to drive it then...

damn that megan canister was HUGE! only kept that on for a couple months until i couldn't bear to look at it any longer...

heart the honda yo!

for the few that are following the thread...enjoy

Re: :::eludeauthority::: 1993 Si

just received the "more adjustable than oem" megan trailing arms to fix my rear toe...and finally get a good alignment reading...shaky pics courtesy of yours truly

i know i know, it's megan products...but i have good luck with them and they are the only company that provides toe control arms for the preludes

look pretty solid, we'll see how they hold up

bam!

Car looks awesome, I was going to go with 17, or 18" rims till I seen your car. I just won an ebay auction, yet to pick it up. I found these rims: FOCAL F5 WHEELS ON SUPER SALE -- FOCAL F5 Rims, FOCAL F5 Center Caps, FOCAL F5 Centercaps, FOCAL F5 rims, and tires new WholesaleWheelOutlet.com and was looking on here for what size to go with. Thanks to your pix and details Ill stick with what works.

Re: :::eludeauthority::: 1993 Si

attended a drag meet today, only honda there in a crowd of domestic v8's, but it's always fun to be the underdog...

track wasn't prepared very well hence the traction issue (with every car, not just me ) but still pulled a 16.150@86.88mph. yes that is slow but i'm at 5500ft or so up in the mountains. according to the altitude calculator on dragtimes.com i ran a 14.956@93.738mph at lower to sea level. here's the link if interested...DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com pulled a reaction time of .066 so that was hella good for my first drag day...

yeah i think neck told me to tuck the wire under the alternator then zip tie it to the dip stick...which worked really well but never snapped a new picture for the thread...

hey thanks for the kind words man, appreciate it. as far as the egr "rerouting" it involved me zip-tying the unit to the fuel rail, but i'll snap some pics for reference. with those megan toe arms i'm actually really happy with them, mainly since my rear toe is finally in spec. the only issue i ran into was the ball joint nut they supplied was to short to run the cotter pin. simply i just reused the oem nut and everything worked out fine. as for trading...hell yeah i love those gold se's!!!
