:::PunkBuster::: 1989 Si 4ws

Engine:
Stock b20a5 DOHC FI

Interior:
Stock

Exterior:
Faded stock paint haha. Plus a little rust...
Crappy ARE wheels.

Suspension:
Stock

ICE:
Broken pioneer unit lol

Future Mods:
Stop all the coolant, power steering, and oil leaks...
Tinted windows
CAI
Polyurethane bushings kit
New carpet + interior
New wheels + tires
New paint
Lower it with K-sports
Brake upgrade (don't know what with...)
Exhaust
Wire tuck
Maybe a turbo... (that wouldn't be for a long time though)
Basically restore it

Oh and by the way, yes I know my carpet is green... The previous owner didn't take care of this car very well so I have a lot to improve on. He also took all the 4ws indications off... Please feel free to ask me anything or make suggestions.
Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy!

Re: :::PunkBuster::: 1989 Si 4ws

Ok guys I figured I'd just share some of the things I've done so far. When I first got the car it had a major oil leak coming from the rear main seal. So I've since dropped the transmission, replaced the main seal, oil pan gasket, transmission output shaft seals, replaced front lower ball joints, and replaced the passenger side cv axel, as well as cleaned some things up as I went. This was probably the dirtiest engine I've ever worked on. Mainly because it had been leaking oil for God knows how long... Ok, I'll shut up now and show you the pictures!

Oh and just for fun here's what my carpet looked like after I pulled it out of the car to clean it This is what I have to deal with! I'm pretty sure I've never seen a carpet in worse condition... I mean, I can't even tell what color it used to be.

Let me know what you guys think.

Re: :::PunkBuster::: 1989 Si 4ws

This is going to be a very naive question. But, Why do you put the rags where the CV axles go? To keep out debris i'm guessing?

Looks like you got some work cut out for yourself man, after your future mods she'll be sittin pretty. Look into a suspension set up too for a clean drop and improved ride quality.

Yeah pretty much. Also, I was cleaning the tranny with degreaser so I didn't want any of that getting into the differential if you know what I mean .

I sure do! Yeah I'm definitely going to be working on the suspension a whole lot. I think handling is one of the most fun things about cars, especially these, so it's pretty high on my priority list. Up until now I've been driving a 7.3L power stroke turbo diesel crew cab f250 with 4x4 (talk about a mouth full) so you can imagine just how amazingly different it feels to drive a little tiny car with 4ws! haha

Well I'm glad you think it's clean but in all honesty, the interior looks better in pictures than it does in actuality . I plan on owning this car for a very long time so I'm looking to make it nice and pretty, nothing flashy or ricey, but just a nice, clean ride .

Thanks for the comments guys!

Yeah I'll be lowering it as soon as I get the funds for it If you like the rims, you can have them! Personally I hate them. Especially since they're damaged.
