6-18-09 Replaced turn signal.
6-22-09 Depo Lights arrived.
6-23-09 Vis Carbon fiber hood arrived!
7-16-09 Hood/Headlights/New bumper installed!

Megan Racing 4-2-1 header with 2.5" collector mod.
2.5" Carsound High-Flow Cat welded to collector.
Custom mandrel bent 2.5" Piping to universal twin 3" muffler.
Intake resonator and butterfly controller removed.
Painted red and black valve cover.
Painted red and black spark plug cover.

Custom Switchplate for nitrous control
Gauge Cluster Color changed to red

I think I'm going to re-do the valve cover, and this time have it powder coated and make it look more red. It's slightly orange-ish atm.

Also, how does your exahust sound? Sound clips? I really like the look of that muffler.

hmmmm.. Lemme see if I can find a video of it. I don't think I have a good sound clip right now though.

It's got a great sound! It's deep and verrry smooth. I absolutely love the sound. I can't get a clip right now cause its raining outside, but i'll get one soon!

I'd love sound clips of that. thats the first exahust I've seen on a prelude that I liked... besides the RS*R ExMag anyway. And did you have them weld the brackets for the heat shield on to the new header? or is that an outdated picture?

Thank you! I was worried that the universal muffler would wear off after a while and start to sound like crap, but it's still going strong. It's an outdated picture, but I'm going to have them weld on brackets to the new header so I can keep it there. I think it spices up the engine bay a little.

Thanks, I absolutely love it! And at idle, it sounds a LOT SMOOTHER than that clips leads on... it makes it sound like my car is blowing ass, whereas its a good deep purr. The muffler was around $125, and to have the piping made with an 18" magnaflow resonator cost like $250, so I guess that puts it at 375. Which if you think about it, isn't that bad at all for a cat-back system.

can i ask what you used to paint the H emblems?? i really want to do black and was considering buying them off ebay buut ive heard some not good things about them fading and stuff...hows the paint holdin up?

Sorry it took so long to answer. I just used a generic plastic paint for the emblems. They're holding up perfectly (except for the front one lol -- I rear ended someone), preparation is the key!

Added a couple new pictures: one of Sophie lookin good from a few weeks ago, one of the new engine bay look, and one of the collector mod.

Dang bro! Your red lude is sick! I recently just bought a new megan race header and hoping to do the 2.5" collector mod too (do you have pics of it?). I have been very close to doing a custom exhaust myself, and when I saw your setup it is identical to what i wanted to run(AEM V2 sri, megan header W/ 2.5" collector, and a custom mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust with 18" magnaflow res, carsound highflow 2.5" cat, into a 2.5" dual outlet Vibrant flat black stealth muffler). Just one question, why do you have a full 2.5" exhaust but have a 3" muffler?

Very sick ride! Your hood is sick as hell. Hey how do you like your Depo's? I'm thinking of getting a pair. Any condensation in them at all? Any issues or are they prefect? Thanks!

They are perfect! I have had no trouble with them at all, and they've been through a lot of rain. Fittment is excellent, light output is good, tabs are strong. No complaints at all!

eBay is the best place to get em, I got mine for 227 shipped.

I don't think I'm going to do the CF trunk or a wing, I just love the lines and look of the stock trunk.

Rims and Lip kit are next!
