Re: :::akaprepreludesh::: 1998 Type SH
I am a bitch aren't I? Haha!
I have some newer ones I can post (especially of the engine bay) but I'm on a work computer and it doesn't allow for outside media sources to get hooked up to it (USB Drives, etc). So I'll have to wait to do it at home. My ultimate goal is to keep building my post count here and hopefully I achieve the minimum number of posts by time my bumper is all done and everything is installed and hopefully that intersects with the timeframe of when I can get one last good photoshoot in to stun y'all before I deploy to Iraq again! It's gonna be close!

Did I not put that I already have the carbon fiber trunk? Damn, I'll put that right in there and post a picture of it. I left the strip between the taillights unpainted so you'll have to tell me how you like that.

Welcome to PZ.com :)
Got a question about your brake setup. Is that the "Fastbrakes.com" kit?

Re: :::akaprepreludesh::: 1998 Type SH
No, they are not from Fastbrakes, they are from a company called "Perfect Brake Performance" and they deal through Ebay as well. They have been around for at least 2 years, that much I know, and you can order replacement parts for them as I've just learned, because I just ordered a a set of replacement pads for my rotors a week ago.
Thanks for all the compliments everybody! I believe people should not hide what they have done to their rides because people like me once needed direction on what to do with their setups. Many times I've had to pay twice for the same thing to be done because the information was not out there on what works, what fits, what can and can't be done, etc. I started a massive parts review on Prelude Online, then it became so time consuming I stopped, but when I resume it, I will definitely post it over here. It goes hand-in-hand with my build thread and I hope for it to be a great learning tool for everybody. My only advice is that each problem you come across on your car and every aftermarket piece has a positive and negative to it. Don't be fooled into thinking that things are as easy as they appear. I've had very little parts I've put on the car that didn't have me stand back for at least a minute and scratch my head. So always drop me a line if you have a question about a part listed you see that I've put on my car up above and I'll tell you my experiences with it. Thanks again and keep a look out for when I become eligible for ROTM!

Re: :::akaprepreludesh::: 1998 Type SH
Hey everybody!
I just hit 150 posts, so I'd like to take this time and announce my appreciation for those that would like to vote me in for April's ROTM! I'm not being overzealous, but part of the reason I've worked so hard to complete it in time (as well as posting up a large amount of responses this month of very helpful information ![]() ![]() ![]() So I'll submit a couple more updated pictures of the front of the car, but a large photoshoot is soon to come! Also, the parts list is updated, so check it out! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What's your car dyno at? 1/4 mile times? What color temp are your low beam HIDs?

Re: :::akaprepreludesh::: 1998 Type SH
230whp, 201tq. Those numbers are with the belt slipping and at 5psi and with a ****ty exhaust that has now been upgraded to 2.5" all throughout, also at 4,000 ft elevation and on 91 octane. Car now resides in Ohio at 1,100 ft elevation and 93 octane and should put out 250whp with a quickie tune.
No 1/4 mile times, never got the chance. Don't know the HID's temp, they're factory HID's from an Acura TSX, so find out what temps those are and you will have your answer. They truly are more of a bright white in person, but the pictures make them look blue.

Re: :::akaprepreludesh::: 1998 Type SH
Probably about 4500k then.
This may be a silly question, but how can the belt slip? Isn't it a toothed belt?
