When I was ready to start looking for a car, I knew it had to be a Honda. Their reputation for reliability and superior engineering has been well earned. My brother who serves in the 101st Airborne finally got back from Iraq 12 months prior to me turning 16. Unfortunetly, I wasn't able to see him until a month or so after he got back. When I met up with him for lunch one day, he showed me his new car. A gorgeous 2000 Silver Honda Prelude. I'd never even heard of them before, but it wasn't long until that was all I wanted.

I did my research and after 10 months, finally found a 1998 Nighthawk Black Pearl Lude with 80K miles on it. The price was right and I ended up flying up to Summerville, NC to pick her up. I've never enjoyed a drive that long so much. I ended up getting her back and starting to plan out where I wanted to go with it.

I decided, that a complete personality change was in order for my new baby. The green and black color theme just melded perfectly on the lude. I started making some minor changes and upgrades. Before I knew it, I was completely in love with her.

Have you ever seen a surfboard fit in a lude? I can promise you that it is VERRRRYYYY entertaining sight. But surfing is a huge part of my life and my my lude had to adopt it too. I believe it is partially because of this that the traditional Hawaiian name "Nalani" fit so well with her.

In the next few years, a total makeover is in order including a fresh coat of NHBP and a Mugen Replica lip kit/spoiler. As well as finally swapping the transmission and starting to build the engine. Keep your eyes peeled, she's got a bright future!

Haha, no it's not seperated, which part are you looking at? To the left of the distributer cap or right above it? That intake is God dude, it's got so much low end torque compared to a short ram.

KYB AGX's with either a set of H&R Races I just picked up for $40 with 7K miles (It's ok to hate me), or Tein S-Techs. Neuspeed Or ST Sway bars front and rear, and strut bars all around as well.

i love your valve cover. that green and black just go so good with each other. you should do matte black wheels with that color lip, that would be ballin. how much of a drop are those springs gonna put you at?

That might look good... Hmmm, I'm gonna have to PS that and see if it works. I just feel the green lip might be a bit ricey, but we'll see.

The H&R Races I have sitting next to me are about a 2" drop all the way around. I'm still not %100 percent sure if I'm going to use these, but the deal was too good to pass up.

The guy I bought these from is also selling a nice set of SH rims for $100... His deals are REALLY nice.

as long as you dont go overboard with the green i think you could make it look really good. wow sh wheels for 100 is really good. but im just not a big fan of them. i think the blades are soo much better looking. i wish i knew ppl that could hook me up with some sweet deals.
