Only thing for my car bought online without seeing is a headlight. Really good deal.
But I would rather go to a shop and see what they have. Usually they have what I'm looking for.

I don't know of any shops that carry things I'm looking for. I think I've bough pretty much everything for my car online. It's nice to see things in person at shops before buying but there is also a thing called mark up. I'm sure I've saved hundreds by buying online. I'm about to get KYB AGX shocks from E's dude online for at least $50 bucks cheaper than any shop would have them.

It depends on what you're getting. I buy most things online, but it's always good to support your local shops. You probably learn more that way anyway.

I will buy from blueridge motorsports (my shop) when the price is right... I like to support them, but if the price difference is too great I order online and have had a lot of luck with that... I'd say half my parts were purchased online (even ebay if they have a legit item) and half came from my shop.

I traded my h23a1 for my agxes... they run nice on neuspeed sports, but don't lower them more than that (1.5-1.7")

What shops have all the performance parts that you need? I don't know any shop where I could walk in and buy a set of coilovers or an exhuast especially car specific. I have pretty much bought everyting for my car online. I think as long as you do enough research and get enough feedback buying online should be no problem.
