Icon5 Oil???

Was just wondering which ones is the better of the full synthetics, royal purple or castrol? I've heard from many people at garages that castrol is better but online I hear royal purple. What do you'll have to say about that

I use castrol as well, I've already had 3 oil changes this year and I always use castrol but that's cause I heard it was the best.

I use Mobile 1 10w30 in the teg. All I use is mobile 1. OE Honda oil desighned for our cars.

I wouldnt recoment Royal Purple to anybody because since they changed their formula and wont release it to be tested it has caused a few engines to blow. My buddy works at Pauls auto and one of their 16k 425 engines blew so the owner is very miticulous about work their so he sent the engine out to be tested and some of the additives in Royal Purples new formula will eat some ACL bearings apart.

I have used the Honda FEO oil with no realy troubles in the past, but am currently using ULX 110 petrolium based oil. The best poart of it is that it seems to have reduced the oil consumption a lot.

Thank goodness I've never (and probably never will) used royal purple. I'm sticking to what works then, castrol all the way. Changing my oil sometime this week on my lunch break

I use Mobil 1 performance. when i switched to it, the oil was coming out black but now it comes out only a little burnt looking... and i have better response i feel when i use mobil 1 instead of castrol or other leading conventional oils
