more problems, wont start, low idle

i was under the impression honda's are supposed to be reliable, i have always stood up for them but this is gettin ridiculous, seriously there is no way THIS much stuff can happen to me. enough ranting sorry...

still battling with lawyer, still running p14 ecu with h22 engine and cant touch it.

the last 2 or 3 weeks my car will randomly just die when i put in the clutch, i have always had a really low idle and if i hit the gas and let it die down it will dip to about 100 rpm's. as far as i know it is completely random and only happens half the time. i could be wrong but it seems to happen more since the weather got warmer cuz it doesnt usually happen in the morning or late at night when its cooler out. i assumed my low idle prob was cuz of the wrong ecu is installed, making me run the wrong compression(i think). i have more problems that seem to happen with it but i figured i would try to figure this out and maybe it is the prob with everything

I had some same symptoms on my 92. When it was hot out my car wouldnt start, but when it cooled down outside it wouldnt have any problems. The problem for me was my main relay, it cost about 30-40 bucks to buy. But unlike yours it didnt happen when i pushed in my clutch. Maybe this helped you or maybe not. Good luck with it!!

Check you ECU, and run a clear service check at any local tuner that you trust. If you have done a complete tune up, run the correct fuel/oil within the milage, checked the intake, and it's emmision/componants, I'm thinking that you have a faulty ECU, or possably a major idle problem in reference to the IAC, FITV, or the EGR or following vacuum sensors, such as you vacuum control soenoid, etc.

Are you thowing any cel codes?

It also maybe a trickle effect, that has to do with many, or, any of the above.

Is you clutch slipping????

well like i said i have an h22 with a p14(ecu for a h23) which is very wrong indeed, so yes i am throwing an engine code but the wire trick just tells me its a prob with me ecu and no one else will touch it because of the law suit.

i got a new clutch with the new engine, so it shouldnt have any more then 33k miles, i think the clutch is ok.

im pretty sure its a compound problem because it has always has had a low idle, well since the swap/fck up. let me rephrase though, it idles fine, its just when the rpm's drop down when the clutch is in all the way they dip and sometimes kill it sometimes not, but only if the engine is warmed up.

today it did it again, after school it wouldnt start, i tried pulling my gas cap off, someone said that the pressure can make it retarded but that didnt help. i came back an hour or so later and it started up fine. wtf! and also, its kinda hard to explain but when i turn the ignition it turns over and tries to start on every turn so the car is shaking pretty bad while i am tryin. i get me brakes back so they arent all stiff and it like half way starts for less then a split second on every turn.
