Slight Bog

Hey guys, my 97 seems to be bogging sometimes if I'm not on the gas hard... even if I DO get on the gas hard sometime in the first few gears its almost like theres something holding it back (nothing really serious, but slightly)... once it gets rev'ing it screams along real nice, but yeah. Also, after I shift, I guess mainly in the first 2-3 gears, right after letting the clutch out between shifts and getting on the gas again its almost like a lag/bog (just for a second) before it wants to pick up again. Clutch?? Again, this isn't ALL the time. I've went through tranny's/clutch in different cars before, it doesnt quite feel like that. But this is my first lude and I know they don't necessarily always go the same. This isn't a driver issue, I've always driven a stick. I can slam this thing down on the highway or wherever and it hooks up real nice.

Long story short, the issue seems to be trying to take off/shift through the first few gears at a pretty 'normal' speed. I know these engines power comes out in the higher rpms, so that could be all it is. J/W if its as noticeable for anyone else. If thats all it is, well, its not really a problem at all since I usually floor it anyways lol.
