so did i blow my engine

Icon8 so did i blow my engine

so im driving down the road when all of a sudden my car shuts off n my check engine light goes on. i role to a stop n when i try n restart it it gets 1 crank then makes a whining niose. did my timming belt snap?

could be, take your valve cover off and check it

wonderful what r the chances i didnt bend any valves n will need a new engine

chances are slim unless the crank stopped dead like mine did. A bolt from the timing belt cover fell into the crank gear.

lucky mofo well i didnt hear any cracks or ping n **** so i find out soon enough got a buddy lookin at it monday

ill finnd out monday then let you guys know my buddy is doin a leakdown test to chack n see if the valves are bent and hes gonna take off the cover to see if the timing belt is still there
