yea, it takes like a 1/2 second to catch, and if i hit the gas hard it revs up without accelerating fast

i did buy a new racing clutch but i just wanted to know if thats the cause of poor acceleration

think about it: the clutch is what transfers the power from the motor to the ground. if you let the clutch out, and its just slipping slipping slipping and your not going anywhere...... yea, that'll hinder acceleration just a tad.

hmmm... those 18"s that you are so proud of are killing your acceleration too... some things must be sacraficed for the look though

i am not proud of my 18's at all, i wish i could have the same rims in 17's but these are the rims that came with the car when i bought it. Im probably just going to get different rims next year anyways, they're decently curbed but will be buffed out for the NY/PA/NJ meet

im just saying bigger rims look nicer, but most of them are heavier unless you shell out some $$, it is a night and day difference when i run with my stock 14s compared to my 17s
