Icon5 possible problem

i have a 92 si and its been great i just put a cold air in it and its been running ok except these past couple days it feels like its lagging in a sense like i'll be crusin in third and then step on it and the rpms will go up but it feels like its taking like five seconds for the car to react or for it to go more say any ideas on what might be happening???
