H22a engine coolant temperature (ECT)

Ok, I have done alot of work on my lude but I got stumped on a stupid little thing. WHERE IN THE f#%K IS THE ECT? I started my car the other day and engine light is giving me an error code 6. I checked all of my connections and plugs, everything seems fine, but I honestly dont know where the sensor is at. Help please, thanks.

Well, i guess im screwed. No part stores had the right one. So i finally went to the dealership and ordered one. but if it's not the right one, i dont know what else to do. And I dont pay for the manual, so i can't look at the illustration. just to double check, is it the one, just under the intake manifold, but above the knock sensor. Should it be the same as the h22a1 or h22a4

??? The flow chart for a code 6 points to the green one next to the distributor.

Sean, my housing for the coolant hose, doesn't have an opening where you have your sensor. It's a closed housing. The honda dealership told me that the sensor I took off is the knock sensor, but if that was the case that would mean that I have 2 knock sensors....This really sucks.

Did you do a swap? The JDM H22 doesn't have that sensor, I had to swap that housing from the H23 -> H22.

Weird. Have you changed the ECU recently? Any other changes?
