h22 swap wiring

alright. my parents gave me the ok to find out for sure how to splice/put in 4 wires into the harness and get vtec goin using a h23 harness. i need a step by step or maybe a link of how to do this.

it is soooo important that you are 100% sure of the info you give me. cuz if i do it wrong and mess the car up i could lose the lawsuit and be out like 5 grand. i might end up not even doing it myself if it seems insanely complicated. i must be very cautious.

im trusting you guys at preludezone with my life and the future of my lude.

i'm gonna kick you if you're still confused after that. the last link is a little extra work than you need to do cuz thats on a car thats NOT wired for vtec, and yours is, but it still goes thru all the steps to wire VEETAKKKK

actually mine isnt wired. that is the problem lol i have an h22 wit a h23 harness and ecu.

i have the p13 in my basement. im going to try this.

also they are talkin about gettin a plug off of the h22 harness. i have a h22 harness but its cut. can someone try to help specify what the connectors look like for the vtec sollenoid and vtec OP switch

theres pics of the 2 connectors in the H-T link. you can also check the manual to see what they look like.

nah, it was an si. h23 to h22 now.

here is what my h22 harness looks like. lol sorry if im retarded, can you try to point out what these connectors are i need.

all SI's, 93 and newer, are prewired for vtec.

"ie 92-93..the chassis is wired for vtec..mine was...also in the engine bay..if you look at the passenger side strut tower...look in front of that like right behind where your intake tube would pass ( it passes between the shock tower and the battery) there was two connectors monted there..one had two wires in it...both going in and coming out..the other was a single wire coming in from the car...but nohing coming out to the engine..that is the Vtec solenoid wire..again it is Green with a yellow stripe...the oil pressure switch wire is located in that little cluster of three plugs..again look for the ligt blue wire running from the inside of the car...but with no wire on the opposite side of the plug going to the engine....thats where i hooked up my wires"

Its easy, run 2 wires from the ECU and ground a 3rd under the hood. Make sure you have them right, I reversed mine the first time.

thanks lol, hey me and sean do have the same cars.

it looks pretty simple and i think i could do it, but i dont want to risk that it would mess with our lawsuit by tinkering with stuff myself. plus then we might not get as much money if it is already fixed.

once we get the 5 grand or more i will wire it myself and just have like 5 grand to add to the 4 grand i already have. yay! this means turbo build for sure. maybe some college money. party fo sho lol. im bill free other then insurance so that means im gonna be friggen rich for bein 17.
