well if you have credit card bills, own a apt., owe on the car itself, or do not have a saving/invest account. I wouldnt get 87.75% of it. Call me boring, but reality sometimes knocks when you least expect it, and you cant get much out of our cars in collateral......with that sed, you have a lot of cool stuff. (-:

Sounds good to me, i mean i dont see myself spending that on my car right now, but maybe if i had a good paying steady job i'd go for it...
Good luck!

I'd do most of it, but not at the same time. I agree with most of the "need" list but I also say space it out a bit. If you add the parts over a year or two you'll get used to it as it goes. Far better than jumping back in after a bunch of work was done and not knowing how it drives, and finding a tree or something.

Also, if you plan on going turbo, you don't need the Megan header, AEM V2 etc.

And finally, Pioneer decks and subs are rubbish. I've had thier top of the line stuff and even far cheaper products from the likes of Alpine and Kenwood are far, far superior.

omg liability?? are you crazy.. dude always full coverage..

it depends on your insurance on what they will cover. if you have show car insurance they make you get your car appraised and then it is usually all covered.. but if you go with say geiko or something they will rarely cover anything, mostly what ever blue book says is what they will give you.

that is a nice list.. chop away at it if your 17.. but here is a hint. don't use a credit card to buy anything. if you start dealing in debt at 17 you will be paying for those parts for the next 10 years if your not careful and that is just a waste of money.. collect the cash then make some purchases.. then collect some more cash and get more stuff.

I have the rotora big breaks(among a few others on your list) very nice.. maybe over kill but very nice lol

I feel you dude... I pay 200 a month for just liability in NJ (NJ is one of, if not the worst in the damn country) on a clean record, and that is down from before I turned 23.... When I was your age, I paid almost 4800 a year for liability on a 95 Ford Probe under my mom's insurance... Jersey blows.

Also.. as for some of your prices... shop around for that fidanza flywheel.. I got mine for 140 + 10 shipping.

i wish i could go under my parents insurance, but they insured in florida under my aunts house. so i'm in NY under myself. i hate it to because all my friends at school go under there parents and they pay only like 1800 for a year

hey i just talked to my friend about this at lunch, he's a car maniac like me, but he rep-s his so called ''evo'' to much even though its those lancer knock offs (american version). so anyway, i told him to look at the wants sheet (i printed it out). i asked him how much power you think after all that i'll be pulling out, he said the most is 290, after 8k i just gain 100hp?

If your spending 8k directly into a turbo build then yea, you would be able to hit maybe around the 400whp mark. However if your just going with your previous list. Then yea don't expect much more than what your friend said. Besides you'll have plenty of fun with around 290whp more then enough for the street.
