need h22 work done

long story short. mechanic is retarded. h23 to h22 swap with h23 harness and p14 ecu. in the process of sueing the hell out of them.

this whole situation is taking so much longer to resolve then i could have ever imagined. i need to have a certified honda mech to put in a completely new harness and the correct p13 ecu. i know you can just make one with 4 extra wires out of the h23 harness but since we are taking legal action against them then we have to do it according to how it should technically be done.

so we talked to the honda dealer and they said they wouldnt touch it cuz it wasnt the original engine, which i dont understand cuz it might as well be the vtec model but with 4ws added. so idk what to do. no one will give us a good estimate so we know how much to actually sue them for. im stuck, can't get an estimate, can't get anyone to work on it, or an alternative solution whatsoever.

what the eff do i do?

Thanks for the sig quote!

As to your question, I'm a little confused. Are you asking what the cost of the swap would be or how much it costs to install the H22 harness?

And what did the shop do that you're suing them over?

well the mechanic at first charges me 1860 bucks more then we agreed on in the first place. he tried to make me pay for a new h23 that he decided to buy for my car when we had it in paper that we agreed on an h22. then he didnt tighten a gasket and oil was shootin everywhere and then he charged us to fix it, said the p13 we gave him didnt work even though it had a warranty and we even got a new p13 and he said it still didnt work, then he said he put it in and when i took the car home it was runnin funny and i didnt feel any vtec so i looked and sure enough, he never touched the computer. and now, we found out that he didnt ever ground the battery so it burnt up my throttle cable and started my car on fire. and didnt put my exedy clutch in from my h23 and said he did. lol thats most of it

my question is. how do i get it fixed if no official honda dealer will touch it and i cant get an estimate cuz no one deals with hondas around here.

i need an official estimate and a certified mech to do the work

that really sucks.

I don't really have an answer for your question, but you have my sympathy for what it's worth.

If you were in northeast alabama, I would be all over an estimate.
