95 Non Vtec 115k mile service gen questions
Hey Guys
I’m dropping in my 95 2.2 non vtec for a general service this week. It’s running pretty well, has a little rubbing on start up on what could be the fan belt (goes away after about two seconds and doesn’t always happen) and is knocking a little when idling (not cutting out or close to it but feels a little unbalanced). I’ll get them to change the oil and filter which are due but what are the other thing I should be asking him to take a look at? I don’t want to appear gullible and allow him make up stuff. It’s got 115k on the clock and I think it’s close to needing the timing belt changed but need to check that out. Thanks & sorry that I’m so retarded about my baby! |

Prelude13 thanks for the advice there, that sounds good.
I've tried checking through the service records with the car and can't find anything that tells me when the timing belt was last done. I quickly checked under the hood to see if there was a marking or something that would indicate it but didn't see anything. Is there somewhere I should be looking? Thanks! |

does any 1 know where i can veiw an owners manual for a '94 prelude? or maybe you can tell me if there is a designated fuse for my aux. tail/brake light (in the rear window) and the tail/brake light on the spoiler? I have just finally bought a used prelude, and am trying to get all the mech. stuff up to par...

i have a '94 prelude, just bought it used, seems to have a slow leak in the pwr steering. has any 1 experienced this problem, or know what part of the pwr steering system is most likely, or most common to fail? i can visually see the wetness all around the right front of the axle, and around that general area...
