Hid Help

I have some questions about doings work on my car but i don't know what i need.

On my Prelude Type SH i want to put New headlights on it but i don't know if i need a head light bulb for it or do i use HID Xenon CONVERSION KIT
The Headlight in the picture shown below is the exact one im going to purchase BTW

The Items in the red box do I need to buy that for the NEw headlights or I can jsut use a simple bulb because I want HID for my car but looking at the headlights i think i need that Red thing and with Christmas coming around the money i get from my parents and family im going to put towards my car (GPS,Headlights,drilled brakes and Detailing the car)
So help a member out lol what do i need to buy for those headlights?

hi mate...if ur gonna put hid's in dont buy that kit..they are cheap knock offs and are designed for halogen bulbs...spk to a guy called prelude1897 on this site..his names brian...he will hook you up with some mean looking projector retrofits and can also supply the hid kits too.

Send a message via AIM to sfields
You can totally buy some HID's and put them in there.. first get the lamp and youll know what size the bulb is, then buy an HID kit, you need the bulbs and ballasts to make HID's workl.

As was mentioned above me Retrofits will look better and be higher quality, but are also quite a bit more costly, I'm running ebay lights and an HID kit and I love it, but a lot of people say not to do it, its really up to you.
