Icon8 Brake caliper bracket issues

Since I have been searching for 2 days trying to find a solution to my problem I think I can start a new thread. The problem is that I removed my brake caliper with caliper attached to remove the hub for a lower ball joint change. When I re-assembled everything, my bracket is now binding my rotor and won't let the car move. I've tried mounting it with and without the caliper. Same thing, it always binds the rotor. When I loosened it enough to move the rotor, it is so loose that it rattles which seems a little unsafe. I am wondering what went wrong? Surely someone knows why this is happening and can relay the info. I'm so frustrated I could beat it with a hammer. Maybe I could twist this into a new set of brakes for the whole car? Found a nice set at AutoZone for a really good price. Someone please help. It is my only form of transportation right now and the walk to work is extremely hot.
I also want everyone to know that yes, I have a manual and I do read it many times before I start a project and while doing the project. And I watch you tube vids. Neither of those have helped with this. I've even asked my friends and my pastor. My pastor owns a body shop. A forum was my last hope before I break down and send it to a garage only to find out that it was some simple something and I will feel like an idiot. I don't like feeling like an idiot. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give.

Let me re-state that I do not like feeling like an idiot. That being said, I found the solution to my problem. Here it is: I was doing a lot of things to my car. New struts, new adjustable lowering springs, high-performance bushings, I broke a ball joint and pulled out half of my inner cv joint. Since I do my work in the driveway I collect all nuts and bolts into a mayo jar so I won't loose anything. When it comes time to re-install, I know where most of them go and the ones I don't I use process of elimination. I unknowingly swapped out the radius arm bolts for the brake bolts. The radius arm bolts being longer went through the hub and brake bracket and into the rotor essentially stopping it from turning. Especially at 80 ft/lbs of torque. So yes, I feel like an idiot but I also felt like I should own up to my mistake and let everyone know that it is important to pay attention to what you put where. You put the wrong thing in the wrong place and you get unexpected and baffling results. That's how my best friend got his first kid at 17. Anyway, thank you for this forum. I believe I'll stick around here and see what else I can learn from you guys.
