Does the 1st Gen Prelude have any other kind of ICM or "brain" besides the module in the distributor? I'm having a no start issue with my '81.

I have great spark coming into the distributor cap but it's not finding it's way into the plug wires.

I pulled the old ICM and noticed it had no heat sink or even dielectric grease on the back. It also had a burnt smell.

This is the style of module I'm getting ready to replace:

is anyone familiar with this style? are they pretty rugged?

ummm, not sure if it's related but I just noticed that the electric fuel pump isn't turning on with the key like it should. I tested the pump and it works when wired up directly to the battery + the fuse for it is good.
