5th Gen to a 3rd Gen???

Ok people. I need some opinions. I have a 99 Prelude h22a4. Ok but i crashed the front of the car. motor still runs just need the basics, like a radiator, radiator support, from bumper, hood, fenders, lights, etc. Anyways to make a lond story short. I want a 3rd Gen Lude. I always wanted one but when i had the chance to get a 5th gen i took it. So like I was saying, I want a 3rd gen Si. Does anyone think i should find a 3rd gen si, And put my motor in there? I ALWAYS wanted to do this.

A 91 Si, with a H22A4 motor. (OOHHHHhhhh YYEAAaa!) lol.

So the question is this: should i get the 3rd Gen that i wanted & do the h22 swap. OR should i just keep the 5th Gen & fix it back up. This has been bothering me for like 4 months now. And now im driving a 88 4dr civic. Which feels so different. I want my h22 back. But I dont know what chasis to keep.

PLEASE HELP ME IM SO CONFUSED & I ALMOST BOUGHT ANOTHER CIVIC. BUT I DONT WANT A CIVIC. I WANT A PRELUDE!!!!

Thank you all for any help that yall can provide.
Laterz,
Sener -(I)- INNER CIRLCE A.C. -(i)-

i looked at a thrid gen black perfect cond.
a white 4th gen with a blown tranny
and a 1997 5th gen.

the 3rd was 1 grand
the 4th was 1 grand also,
the 5th was 4 grand

we all fell in love with the 5th gen.

id keep the 5th gen if i were you!

H22 3rd gen would be badasss!!! its the best of both worlds: the looks of the 3rd with the heart of a 5th.
and since the custom motor mounts are becoming somewhat "readily" available, it shouldn't be too hard of a swap.

ask Prelude13 about this, he is seriously considering this swap very soon!

You need that^ and a strong desire to start & finish the project.

Just weigh your options and finances. How much to repair your 5th gen? Insurance wont cover it?

IMO if the 3rd gen's condition is superb, then go with the 3rd gen. 3rd gen would be at least a 91 and older so a good condition one may be hard to come by though.

Wow so many responses. Lol I dont know what to do. You all have good points. If i get the 3rd Gen. Im gonna have to get rid of the crashed 5th Gen. (But keep the motor). I cant have both right now.
