Spun engine bearing?

How's it goin boys? Long time no see.
Need some help, here. Think i spun a bearing, but was unable to find any useful info through Google.

Story time: I was driving through the Santa Cruz mountains when my car threw a CEL. I pulled over, and got the code, P1399. After some digging, i discovered this is a "random cylinder misfire" cause by a) Improper valve clearance, or b) clogged EGR port. My valves have been ticking for a while, and i've been meaning to adjust them, but have zero time... The EGR port also needs a good cleaning, but i'm 90% certain it was the valve clearance. Checked my engine, and there was a loud tapping coming from the bottom of (I think) cylinder 2.
It's loudest on a cold start, but seems to disappear once the car's warmed up and in either park or neutral (f-ing automatic). However, i will still hear it in gear, and it's loudest around 3-4000 rpm, and while stopped at lights 'n such. Also my gear shifts have been a little rougher since it happened.
I'm not sure if it's one of the main bearings or a rod bearing (praying for the former), and i have no idea how to go about fixing it, or what it'll cost. From what i've read on the web, i might as well scrap the motor and swap a new one in. I've driven about 200 miles since it happened, having to drive home from Santa Cruz the next morning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Below is a video i took immediately after it happened. You can hear the valves ticking in the background, and the tapping rings loud and clear over them.

Re: Spun engine bearing?

Tick or knock sound?
Bearing sound usually stays even when warm, valves will sometimes quiet down after warm. I could always hear my bearing until my oil pump sending unit went..
