Re: anyone seen this?

You just wasted my time.

It's an LED tail light, anyone with basic LED and 12v experience can design and make them.

Re: anyone seen this?

Is the tail light supposed to dim with the indicator? Looks like a pretty low budget solution, possibly no voltage regulation or something. LED technology has come a long way since the ol' 2V miniature LED though, it looks like they just pulled apart the VCR to get all those. Coming from the lighting industry I REALLY hate seeing spotty LEDs when it is so damn easy to put an opal film in there and space the LED's back from the lens a little bit. I guess a LOT of modern cars do the same thing but it doesn't excuse them looking terrible and being glary as hell. I really want to do something about the spottiness of the (4th??) brake light in the rear spoiler but that nugget is glued together pretty well, screw it I'm inspired now... probably for the wrong reasons.

I don't mean to rain on your parade especially if you made these/know who made these etc. but it has been done before. At least this guy used a PCB http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...d.php?t=263784 With the right IC you could probably get them to spell out your name while you brake, I'd be impressed then.

IMO Honda got it right from the factory.
