Icon8 Can anyone identify a part of this engine?

Recently taught my idiot friend how to drive stick and the way he stalled out it was as if my car was on hydraulics. Anyways my Dad thinks the reason why the lude wont start now is cuz that yellow wires loose...

Anyone know what part of the engine it may be?

Re: Can anyone identify a part of this engine?

Looks like a speed sensor or some transmission related part it shouldn't be the reason for a no start tho

Re: Can anyone identify a part of this engine?

you need 3 things to start an engine.
compression
air/fuel
spark

not reverse lights.

test to confirm you have those things, and you should be good. other than that i would check grounds, power to the starter.... the battery to see if it died... something simple.

Re: Can anyone identify a part of this engine?

well its really 3
compression
fuel
spark

but if you really think about it theres alot more factors to make an engine today run.... sensors, "air", switches, battery, fuses, relays, etc, etc, etc.....
