what to do

I have a few rusted spots on my sunroof and I'm curious as to what might be the best way to fix them. All of them are on the outer edges near the rubber (thankfully it doesn't leak). I can't afford to repaint the car as much as I'd like to. I was thinking maybe spraying plasti-dip to cover it but I don't know if it would work. The rust is sort bubbled a flaky not just surface rust. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: what to do

Scrape off the rust, spray it with permatex rust convertor then a couple days later your favorite touch up paint then a can of catalized clear coat.
About $40 and a couple hours overall.

Re: what to do

Another alternative solution would be swapping in a 5G glass moonroof to replace your rusty steel 4G sunroof.

How To: 92-96 Prelude 5th Gen Moonroof Conversion

You can find all the parts you need for this on eBay for under $100 pretty easily. They can be had even cheaper at junkyards.
