Crank Pulley/Belt Chirp

Hey guys! OK belts started chirping yesterday looked at the crank pulley has a wobble at idle and smooths out under rev... But side of belt is starting to fray! Any suggestions on how to fix aside from a new pulley and key way? And suggestions on alternator adjuster seems to be bent due to someone before me over tightening

Re: Crank Pulley/Belt Chirp

ok, so for your crank pulley there's no way that i know of to fix it. the pulley consist of an inner piece and outer piece, there is rubber between them and that hold them together. this piece is not going to last forever, and will need to be replaced. it not to hard to do, however you will need to buy/rent a harmonic balancer ( AKA crank pulley ).

as for you alt tensioner your best bet is the junk yard.

hope this helps you.
