prelude problems

i have a 92 prelude and for some reason everything in my car will cut off and a few mins after that it will start acting like it dont want to go and quit on me and wont start back up..any ideas what it could be?..iv replaced the alternator 3 times

Check your battery posts, and if your battery isn't holding a charge. Sounds like your battery isn't holding a charge though

it could be cause when it does this i can take my battery somewhere and get it charged and it runs fine for a day or so but the terminals that are on my battery cables only grip like half of my battery cable?

well i fould the problem the other day..my compressor belt melted off somehow
