Icon9 Which ECU should i use?

I have a 94 Honda Accord H22A DOHC Vtec redtop. I have a p13 and a p06 ecu.
The P13 give me CEL light and also revving by itself(idle) but it can hit vtec.
The P06 on the other hand has No CEL light No Idle problems all in all no problems BUT it doesn't seem to hit vtec but goes pretty fast -__-. what should i do?

Re: Which ECU should i use?

Answer is in your other thread.

Ha ha, just kidding. But seriously guy, two threads with identical questions?
C'moooooon!

There are tons of answers to your question. If you don't mind the cel, then stick with option what you have.
Will that cel cause you issues at your annual inspections?

You can research at Honda-tech for better results as they cover all them Hondas over there. What you wanna do with your Accord has been done and is well documented at HT. Folks will answer your question here. Knowledge-able folks. But over there, there's likely thread after thread of vtec-ed accords with what goes wrong and how to fix it.
Accords kik@$s, but you never see baby on board signs in a Prelude. Kid won't fit.

Re: Which ECU should i use?

Unless the P06 is chipped for an H22, use the P13. It's actually for an H22, while the P06 isn't.

Honestly you should investigate the code the car is gonna throw while using the p13 and see how to fix it incase. Then get a reflash

Re: Which ECU should i use?

It's not that. Most ecu's that are "chipped" have a mapped eprom soldered into the mainboard for the given results. A reflash doesn't require a physical alteration or be Japanese. And it's assinine, like saying I have Japanese Lug nuts.
