H22A

I'm new on here and I joined to get some help. I have a 97 prelude with an
H22A i have a flashing check engine light so I pulled codes on it and I have several

I have a cyl. 1 and 3 misfire as well as a random miss

NOX code

EGR code

oxygen sensor code after replacing it

it has an auto engine harness

I used alldata at the shop I work at an tried tracing the problem using the diagnostic flow charts and I failed all the tests and ended saying that I need to replace the ECU with a new one.

any ideas?

Re: H22A

Replace the ecu maybe lol

I mean alldata is a reliable source.... So if that's the answer it gave you than I would follow it....

Other than that I would replace your plugs and wires, clean your egr, etc... Do a tune up

Any color smoke coming from your exhaust?

Re: H22A

im fairly certain it was white but I didn't want to run it super long with the light flashing

but do you know anyone that would have an ECU for sale or just have one I could swap out to see if that would fix the issue

Re: H22A

Check the for sale section.

What ecu do you need?

And white usually means your rings are fried....
